Reviews of El Cielito Hotel Makati in Manila Philippines

I stayed at El Cielito for almost 2 weeks and I found the hotel to be old. The cabinet makes noise when opening and closing it. The television is old as well. The bed is average and I would have preferred to have two pillows in my bed instead of one. The faucet is also vulnerable to breakage. The air-condition is noisy as well. The good points are the hospitality of the staff and the location which is accessible to many places in Makati.

The room is too cramped, air condition in the rooms are located uncomfortably, you can hear the buzz. Breakfast choices could have been improved. Reception is not as efficient, as they charged us room service we did not get. If I had not checked, I would have been overcharged. Could really use improvement in management, design and service.

I stay in El Cielito every time I go to Makati for business. I believe this is one of the cheapest hotels in the business district of Makati. The rooms are clean and the air condition may be noisy but they work well. The cable TV is fine. There is WiFi in the rooms and the hot and cold showers work well and the housekeeping staff are great.

The El Cielito Inn is well priced. It is a small, simple hotel within a walking distance to the Greenbelt and most of the ideal areas of Makati. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The free WiFi worked well. The staff at El Cielito were friendly. The breakfast buffet was hearty with a nice selection of items and a freshly made omelette with the ingredients of your choosing.

It is a decent, clean hotel although little dated. I think its greatest draw is its proximity to Greenbelt and Ayala in Makati. I can't complain about the hardworking personnel there.
