Reviews of Fernandina Garden Suites in Manila Philippines

From the outside you would not think that you are on your way to a relaxing place, I was surprised to see a garden in the middle of all the rooms, with its Cabana style front desk and cafe. The smaller rooms where new, nice and clean, the bathrooms have natural lighting giving you a fresh experience away from your common bathroom. The bigger rooms were spacious with up to 4 people. All rates were affordable and came with a choice of breakfast plates that were to my satisfaction. This garden type small hotel gives a fresh look at how you can make your stay different from your ordinary hotel stays.

Their standard room has a queen size bed, air conditioner, cable TV and mini refrigerator. We transferred to another room because they cannot open the door of the comfort room of the first one. The location was quite hard to find because the driver was not familiar with the hotel. It is located beside a warehouse and around a residential area. The experience was just okay. They have 15 rooms. The room is nice but the food for me is expensive. Also as to what we experienced, the WiFi connection was very poor.

Best for those who don't like to stay in big buildings, its a flat layout a refreshing change with a gaden in the middle of all the rooms. Free breakfast is good compared to the other places I have been to. Room service is available with meals that are very affordable. It is in the middle of the city so if I want to go North or South of metro Manila, this place has the perfect location. I would defintely come back.

I booked a double deluxe room but we were assigned a standard room and what I noticed was that the room had some dust accumulated on the side table and cob webs, I wonder if they do really check and maintain each room. It has no dining table and no slippers provided. The staff are rude and the room service was not good as they brought one cup of coffee instead of two.
