Reviews of Orange Nest Hotel in Manila Philippines

Having stayed here twice over the last two years and there is a reason why I choose to come back. The service is good with friendly staff. I don't understand how you can moan about noise from the street. This is manilla. It is noisy and busy. This is a great hotel and the rooms are clean with a nice shower.

Worst hotel I have ever been to and the comforter was soiled and had stains. There was no tissue available because it is out of stock as said by the crew so we got our tissue the next day. The food in the voucher said American or continental breakfast, but the crew said that there has been an error they only cater continental. The hotel is very poor and needs big improvements.

It is a small hotel and there is actually no air condition when I entered the lobby. The front desk is not friendly and barely can give you a smile. The room was fairly tidy, the rest room has broken shower and when I woke up in the morning, I had some bed bug bites on my skin. The only good thing about my stay was the nice air condition, cable TV, free breakfast, the guard on duty that night assisted me to get a cab and it is cheap for an overnight stay.

The cab driver had a hard time locating the place since San Marcelino is a long street. Every friday they do have this Acoustic Night where you can enjoy your meal while listening to live music. The rate that was on the website is also the same rate as when I booked at the hotel. Being a coffee drinker myself, I wished they can provide kettle in the rooms.

I had a good rate from this hotel since I booked it on an online discount voucher. The resto was good, I love the ambiance, the food selection and I really enjoyed the breakfast and the brewed coffee. The bed size and room size is sufficient but the bedding is not well monitored. The sheet was for a single occupant but our bed was a queen size. When we had our room made up for our second day, the housekeeping did not place new amenities, like tissues, towels, and bath kit. The place is kind of new and the staff is very accommodating. I just hope they could do something about the matters at hand, guests will definitely come back if the service and amenities could be improved.
