Reviews of Check Inn Pension Arcade in Negros Oriental Philippines

The rooms are spacious and simple. The only thing that I do not like is the ants. There are lots of ants when we ordered coffee inside the room. In a matter of few minutes, the ants drink our coffee in the dresser area where the coffee is located. But other than that, this hotel is very close to the city proper.

The hotel is centrally located to the city. Very close to the shopping malls and dining areas and a few minutes walk to SM and Manukan country. Easy access to transportation. The hotel is simple and spacious. There are ants in the room when you ordered food, so it is better to eat downstairs rather inside your room.

The hotel has nice location, right behind old city hall. It is about 2 to 3 minutes walk to SM mall. The hotel is under renovation and the construction is very noisy. The room is big, but sketchy. Hotel is for budget travellers.

This hotel is situated just in the centre of Bacolod. Lots of shops are very close to it although I could not manage to find any decent place to eat nearby. My room was on the 4th floor, on the roof actually. They have a nice garden there with small tables so you can sit there with a laptop. Room was fine although it witnessed better times. Anyway it was a good choice for a price.

This was actually the second extension of my initial stay in the hotel. As this was not my first visit to Bacolod, I found that for the price, the hotel was a good value for what I needed. Yes there were some shortcomings in the rooms, but if one lets themselves get into the adventure of it all, it is not a bad experience. However, if you want friendly, polite, honest and best effort service. The Check Inn is definitely the place to stay.
