Reviews of Islands Leisure Boutique Hotel and Spa in Negros Oriental Philippines

We found our room very conducive to relaxing and the decor has class. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and comfortable furnitures. The dining room has classy decor that catered to my taste.

This hotel is a compound of several houses with a pool that have been adapted for use as a small hotel. The presentation of the hotel was good but I found the room I stayed in a little small and quite cluttered with unnecessary furniture. It all looked nice but was not that practical. The internet was a problem and did not work at all in the room. The location was quite away out of town and there was nothing in the area. The town itself is quiet attractive and laid back but to make the most of it it would be better to stay in or near the city centre.

I stayed at the premiere suite room and the accommodation was great. The hotel is quite close to the airport and the golf club. The water pressure in the morning was weak.

Although the rack rate is high for the area, this can best be described as a budget hotel. There is nothing wrong with all the smiles of the affable staff. Except that they forgot to clean the room the first day. The rooms are not outright dirty, but not really clean either. The hotel fountain was turned off for the better part of our stay. Apart from the still, murky water the fountain contained a turtle.

The staff is very friendly and they have helped me track down my phone which I had left in a van when I checked out the hotel.
