Felt Comfortable |
Our hosts Phyllis and Don certainly made us feel
welcome and comfortable in their home. Their quiet neighborhood
is close to some great restaurants and has beautiful views from
the Lanai. We began our vacation staying in a bed and breakfast,
so that we could get some ideas about the islands from folks who
live and experience this beautiful paradise everyday and were very
pleased with our decision! Healthy breakfast offerings included
assorted fresh fruit, bread, cereals, and many other items. |

Friendly Host And Hostess |
The friendly host and hostess, Don and Phyllis Young,
have three guest rooms in their beautiful hillside home with great
views of the marina, Koko Head, Koko Crater and Maunaula Bay. We
also wanted to see the Honolulu sights as well as other areas of
Oahu. Other guests during our stay were from Poland and Japan and
were delightful to meet over a good, healthy breakfast of coffee,
island fruits, yogurt, wholegrain cereals and breads. Also for dinner
we enjoyed restaurants at the marina shopping center just down the
hill. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at the Aloha bed and
breakfast and the helpfulness that the Youngs offered for our Oahu
visit. |

We Had A Good Experience |
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying with Phyllis and Don. Booking
two separate rooms can be very expensive and we received such wonderful
service and value for the rooms. They were incredibly accommodating
and had a wonderful array of goodies to eat for breakfast. We felt
like we were at home and the location was super convenient, in a
beautiful area of the island. We had such a good experience and
we are ready for more bed and breakfast experience. |

Fabulous View Over The
Bay |
It is a well-kept split level home in a quiet neighborhood
of similar houses overlooking Hawaii Kai. It has a fabulous view
over the bay and a real nice salt water swimming pool. The hosts
provided an excellent wholesome breakfast every morning, with fresh
tropical fruit and baked goods, which I could serve myself on my
own schedule and either eat at the dining table inside or take outside
to enjoy at a table on the deck along with that great bay view.
The hosts are kind and warm and a fount of helpful knowledge. All
in all I slept well, ate well and felt most welcome. |

Very Happy Guests |
We were very happy with our decision to stay at Aloha
Bed and Breakfast. We most definitely will return given the opportunity.
Don and Phyllis' home is open, pleasant with great views and plenty
of light. The bedrooms each have great beds, windows, closets and
the huge library of books and travel helps is right outside the
rooms. We enjoyed having breakfast every morning on the deck as
we looked out over Hawaii Kai and the ocean. Phyllis offers a variety
of healthy choices for breakfast along with delicious coffee. We
had fresh, whole grain bread with various spreads, homemade muesli,
healthy cereals, local fruits, yoghurt and other yummy choices.
It is the best place to choose for a beautiful, restful experience
in paradise. |
