We are located on the Eastern side of the spear–shaped Paradise Island of Camiguin. We are 6 kilometers from the Port of Benoni accessible by motorela and 11 kms South of Mambajao. Across us is the beautiful Islet of Mantigue, 30 minutes pumpboat ride. What Algen's Dive Resort can offer :
SCUBA DIVING: ALGEN'S House Reef is packed with both Artificial and Natural
Reefs. Assorted species of fishes and underwater creatures are noted in
this undisturbed sea. The seascape is so unique that soothes the indulgence
of your craving for underwater nature. Mantigue Island, Jicduff Shoal
and Burias Reef are another more fascinating dive sites near our vicinity.
We also offer Discover SCUBA Dive.
SNORKELING: If SCUBA diving is not your course, Snorkeling is one best
next thing we can offer.
KAYAKING: You can choose a single or a double-man kayak to ride-on in almost always calm seas at Algen's.
BOATING: If you can't bear to ride the kayaks, boating is great for you.
SWIMMING: Adults and children love to swim the calm seas. You surely will love to spend it here.
BEACH PARTY & GET-TOGETHER: Young adults love to party at the beach. ALGEN'S can definitely cater a safe and spacious beachside party.
TENTS: Overnight backpackers can lay their tents on ALGEN'S open airy grounds and spend a good night slumber.
How to get to Algen's Dive Resort:
Route 1: From Cagayan de Oro City
1.1 From the airport of Cagayan de Oro, proceed to the bus terminal located
at Agora, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City. Then, take a bus for 1-hour &
30 mins. cozy ride to Balingoan, Misamis Oriental, which is 88 kms. from
the City of Cagayan de Oro. At Balingoan, take a Ferry Boat bound for
Camiguin for another 1-hour & 30 mins. sea experience. Ferry schedule
is at 1-hour transfer intervals.
1.2 From the airport of Cagayan de Oro, proceed to Cagayan de Oro wharf
located at Macabalan, Cagayan de Oro City. Then, take a relaxing 2-hour
Fastcraft travel by sea to Camiguin.
Both routes take you to the Benoni Wharf of Mahinog, Camiguin, which is
6 kms from Algen's Dive Resort and 17 kms from the capital town of Mambajao.
Route 2: From Cebu City
2.1 Catch a 12-hour Ferry trip from Cebu to Camiguin every Friday at 8:00
PM., arriving at the Port of Balbagon, Mambajao early the next day, 7
kms away from Algen's Dive Resort.
2.2 By air, look for SEAIR which will take you to Camiguin once or twice
a week. Airport is about 20 kms. from ALGEN'S Dive Resort.
Route 3: From Jagna, Bohol:
3.1 Shuttle Ferry will take you daily for a 4-hour travel by sea from
Jagna to Balbagon Port of Camiguin.
3.2 Paras Sea Cat, a Fastcraft vessel will take you a 2-hour every other
day fast sea travel from Jagna to Benoni Wharf in Camiguin.
