Calauit Safari Tour Calauit Island is one of the Philippine's wildlife Sanctuary. It is an ideal home to various species of exotic African and Palawan endemic flora and fauna. Varieties of birds, giraffes, calamian deers, antilopes and zebras roam the island. It is indeed a tropical safari you wouldn't want to miss. Inclusions CP guid, Calauit guide, boat transfers, use of tour truck park entrance, ancks and short lectures, taxes and service charge. What to expect? This is open
wildlife sanctuary and the animals are roaming freely. There may be times
that you won't get to see as many animals as claimed by your friends.
Then again, there will be times that giraffes will welcome you by the
shore! As most of the animals are still wild, wandering and getting near
the animals without permission of the Calauit guide is strictly probihited. |
How to get there? Calauit is just an hour away from Club Paradise. A bamboo raft or a flat bottom boat will transport guests a few meters from the shore. From there, a tour truck awaits you to take you around the island. What to wear and what to bring?
Wear light clothing, sunblock, hat or cap and a pair of slippers or shoes
that can be taken off. Do not forget to bring cameras and some cash for
souvenirs such as shirts and caps that are available at their souvenir
shop. |
Coron Island Tour Be enchanted by the beauty of the picturesque Cayangan Lake or take a dip at the invigorating Maquinit Hot Spring as our whole day tour brings you to Coron Town and Coron Island. Inclusions Snorkeling masks, fins, life jackets, roundtrip land and boat transfers, CP guide, taxes and service charge. How to get there? A boat will
take you from Club Paradise to Decalachao or Maricaban Pier. From there,
you will board a van to take you to Coron town. Normally, there will be
another boat ride to the Twin Lagoon and then to Cayangan Lake for lunch.
After lunch, you will proceed to Siete Pecados and Maquinit Hot Springs |
The lasts stop would be a souvenir shop selling very interesting and inexpensive handicrafts, souvenir shirts, dried fish (dangit), dried squid and roasted cashew nuts. The schedule of the itinerary changes depending on the tide. Boat for the Coron Tour leaves at 7:00AM and returns to Club Paradise at around 5:00 – 6:00PM. A minimum of 4 persons per trips is required. Kindly confirm from the Front Desk your reservation a day before. Advise them, too, if you wish to have a wake-up call. Shirts and shorts over swimsuits are the ideal attire. Sunblock and mosquito repellant is a must. You could also bring cash for souvenir shopping. During the rainy season, the pathways to the Cayangan Lake may be slippery and the hill leading to it is quite steep. But we assure you that the scenes you’d get to behold would be definitely worth it. |

What to expect? In Isla Walang Lang-aw, there is no natural shade but beach umbrellas will be provided for you. Isla Walang Tao has many tall corals, which are very splendid. The waves going to Diatoy can be rough but trees and wild flowers are quite bountiful in this island. Isla Walang Tao has many large coral heads, so the boat cannot dock. It is only possible to swim to the shore from the boat. The corals there are beautiful. Diatoy, although waves can be rough from the resort, this island is always calm. Both from the front and back part,this island is beautiful with all its trees and wild flowers.You may find a fisherman or two in these islands resting and cooking their meals but a definitely not disturb you. |

) and whole day tour is available. Kindly note that a minimum of 2 persons
is required per trip. |

Dugong Dive CenterClub Paradise Resort is centrally located in a known Scuba Diving area. The reef surrounding the island, known as the Housereef, a favorite site because of easy access and its abundant fish life. Next to this reef is a known feeding ground for green turtles and the dugong (sea cow). A few other reefs can be accessed from the resort within 20 minutes. Another prime dive site, the Japanese freighter Kyokuzan Maru, can be reached within 30 minutes from the resort. Moreover, with "M/V Karen Claire", divers can go to Apo Reef Natural Park, a world-class diving destination, or to the westernside of Busuanga where there is good number of wrecks from World War II.
House Reef This meandering reef features different species of tunicates, sponges, seastars, sea cucumbers, turtles and cuttlefish (seasonal). An aggregation of giant clams (Tridacna gigas, an endangered species) is located at 12 meters. Several species of damselfish, wrasses, groupers, fairy basslets, emperors, parrotfish, snappers, butterfly fish, flying gurnard and cardinal fish are among the inhabitants of the reef. Those that burrow in sand include sand perches, lizardfishes, flatfishes, stingrays and certain wrasses. During the day, a large aggregation of jacks can be found in the inner reef slope. Fusiliers, barracudas and tunas roam large areas around the island while a number of reef-associated fishes venture to the open sea. |
Kyokuzan Maru (Wreck) This Japanese freighter measures about 152 m long and lies almost upright. The main structures remain intact. It carries in one of its holds a car and a truck. This wreck provides shelter to batfishes and substrate for the ubiquitous bivalves. Fusiliers, trevallies, barracudas and rays are occasionally sighted.
Apo Reef Very dramatic drop-offs down to about 400 m. The steep walls are well covered with corals, sponges, tunicates, nudibranchs and slugs. The coral formation is magnificent at the plateau. Green and hawksbill turtles and multitude of fish including damselfish, butterfly fish, batfish, surgeonfish, snappers, fusiliers and trevallies are usually seen. Strong currents increase the chance of sighting mantas, great barracudas and sharks. This reef is also known as the Apo Reef Natural Park. |
