Power is supplied by a newly installed full-time municipal
network or by your own, soundproofed generators. The voltage is 220 volts
and European sockets are available. Hippocampus has its own water works
in the inland, which ensures a supply of almost drinking water quality
(not self-evident to Malapascua). A wireless Internet connection is available
for guests free of charge.
Dive Center
Our dive center is of SeaQuest operated and is part of one
of the oldest and most famous diving company in the country. Seaquest
has decades of experience in the Philippines with Sister bases in Alona
Beach / Bohol and Moalboal / Cebu. The base is conveniently located below
the restaurant and offers everything a diver's heart. The bottles are
filled with a powerful WF compressor and a Nitrox mixing outside of the
resort, so that any Geraeuschbelästigungen be avoided. 15 complete
and newly Cressi Sub rental equipment at disposal.
Offered are 4 dives daily, if necessary parallel exits.
Roland, the base leader on Malapascua speaks German and makes his team
a knowledgeable local guides and boat crews for excellent conditions.
Offers all PADI courses up to Divemaster, in English and German language,
and Nitrox is standard.
On Malapascua comes in addition to the usual local outrigger
boats and a speedboat with strong outboard motor is used, which reaches
the main dive sites within minutes. Personal service is a priority for
SeaQuest, such as photographers and non-photographers are looked after
individually. All dives are guided by qualified, mostly local guides who
know the peculiarities of the underwater world Malapascua's best.
