Activities

Trekking
Mount Tapyas Offers one of the most spectacular view of Coron Islands, so it's highly recommended to go up this mountain if ever you are to visit Coron. It's best to climb it early morning to see the sunrise, or before night falls to see the sun setting on Coron Bay. After some 700+ steps to the top, you will be treated with a breathtaking panoramic view of some of the islands and the surrounding mountains.

Island Hopping
Malcapuya Island The virgin beach of Malcapuya Island & snorkel to your heart's content. It is a slice of paradise found only in Coron, Palawan. This island has some of the best white sand beaches in the whole Calamianes but is considered quite distant from the gateways and Tourist Service Center. Among the islands, Malcapuya Island has the better attributes because of a longer white sand beach on its southern shore, a narrower beach on its western side, and another shoreline on its northern side.

Banana Island Can already be seen from Malcapuya Island. It is approximately 60 minutes boat ride to get to the island. It was named Banana Island because the aerial view of the island looks like a banana fruit during low tide.

Banol Beach Is just one of the many white sand beaches you can find on the island of Coron, Palawan. It is a small, cozy beach with two small huts which you can rent from the local folk.

Twin Lagoon Is divided by limestone wall and is connected by a small and narrow opening. The inner lagoon is only visible and can only be accessed during low tide. One must have a diving skill to get to the inner lagoon during high tide.

Snorkelling
Kayangan Lake Which is located at Coron Island, Northern Palawan is said to be the cleanest lake in the Philippines. Sometimes called the Blue Lagoon, this freshwater lagoon is amidst sheer limestone cliffs. This beautiful picture-perfect scenery can be seen after a walk up a mountain trail.

Barracuda Lake Has amazing underwater rock formations. It is a freshwater lake taking place in a former crater. It is about 40m deep and surrounded by sharp limestone cliffs.

Skeleton Wreck A popular Snorkelling spot in Coron Bay. It is also possible to scuba dive this small 25m long Shipwreck. The reef is also really nice with a teeming reef life giving good visibility of various marine lifeforms.

Directions to Jazmines Place

Look for a flight to Busuanga Airport, Coron. There are regular flights 3 to 4 times a day with some domestic airlines. From Busuanga airport it's a 40 minute transfer ride to Coron town. There are shuttle vans operating outside the terminal that cost around Php 150 per person. The resort is a 30 minute ride from the airport.
