All types of accommodation are made from traditional local materials.
Our rooms are equipped with traditional local furniture and all have an electric fan to cool the rooms on hot days. Furthermore every bungalow has its own spacious en suite bathroom with cold shower and an airy terrace.In the palm trees surrounding the bungalows, you will find numerous hammocks, in which you can laze the day away with a good book and completely relax.

The resort's private generator supplies part time electricity (220V, 60 Hz) to the restaurant at daytime and now even during a couple of hours in the day, while the island's generator supplies power to the whole resort from 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Solar lamps illuminate the resort at night.Estrella (Babie) Zagorski, owner of the resort, has an exotic garden, which prides itself of a wide variety of flowers and Orchids, ornamental and herbal plants and trees. She grows her own Bergamot, Ginger, Galangal, Basil, Lemon grass, Turmeric and plenty of Aloe Vera.

Double Bungalows

It has a suite bathroom with shower. This type of accommodation is good for up to 2 people in which they can enjoy the garden and sea view.

Hobbit House

A very special Honeymoon Suite, with en suite bathroom and shower. It has its own special secluded spot on the resort's grounds to ensure your privacy. It also features a cozy roof terrace, protecting you from curious views.

Family Safari Bungalow

An accommodation overlooking the garden. Our two storey Safari Bungalows are spacious enough to accommodate a family with 2 kids. They all have an en suite bathroom with shower.

A-Frame Bungalows

It offers a garden view, and accommodate up to 3 people, with en suite bathroom with shower.

Directions to La Estrella Beach Resort

The hotel can arrange all transfers!
Taxi service will gladly pick you up from Cebu airport, and drive you on a 2-hour trip to Argao, Cebu, where the hotel boatman awaits you for another 1-hour boat trip to La Estrella Beach Resort, Cabilao Island. This will cost you P 5300 for 2 person.

Going on your own, you can ride a taxi from the Cebu airport going to South Bus Terminal in Cebu City that would take an hour for P250.From the Southern Bus Terminal in Cebu city, take a bus that will drop you at Looc, Argao (P90). Where on Tuesdays and Saturdays between 12 noon and 3 p.m. about three public boats will take you direct to Cabilao island (P100), but unfortunately not directly to the beach. See below.

From Cebu via Bohol
take the fast craft bound for Tagbilaran City that would cost around P500-P700. Take a taxi for up to 3 persons to Mocpoc, Sandingan (an hour drive for about P700) and with a special boat ride to La Estrella for P600.

The cheapest but longer way:
Jeep from Cogon market, in Tagbilaran to Mocpoc, Sandingan, Loon (P35), and a regular boat to Talisay, Cabilao (P20). From there take a tricycle to La Estrella (P50). Or you may take a pleasant 1-hour walk to the resort.
All these trips will take about one day.
