Ocean Vida Beach and Dive Resort, central located at the beach front of the Bounty Beach offers 20 spacious rooms.

There are 3 different categories, Sea view rooms, Garden air-conditioned rooms and Garden fan rooms. Beside the restaurant build on top of the Sea Explorers Dive Center there is also a beach-bar so you can chill at the beautiful white sandy beach and enjoy the offers of the bar.

The Resort is owned by Sven & Fabienne a German/Swiss couple that moved to Malapascua in 2005 starting as the dive shop managers of Sea Explorers. The combination of nice ambiance, fresh food and the friendliness of the locals here on the island make many people come back to Malapascua over and over again.

Restaurant

The Ocean Vida Beach and Dive Resort restaurant is conveniently located just above our beach bar and dive facilities. However, it is up to you to decide whether to dine in the restaurant overlooking beautiful Bounty Beach or right on the beach.

Our delicious breakfast is served from 07:30 am when our dive boats return from the early morning dive at Monad Shoal until 10 am. The buffet includes freshly baked bread, buns, croissants, freshly made omelets, bacon, cold cuts, a wide range of marmalade’s, coffee, tea and fresh fruit juices.

The restaurant is open till 10 pm where a wide range of local and European dishes are served. These include baguettes and paninis, soups, salads, Filipino and Thai specialties, wiener schnitzel and cordon bleu, pastas, pizzas and much, much more.

We also offer delicious sea food dishes freshly caught by local fishermen and prepared with delicious coconut, mango, papaya and lemongrass. Finally we offer a selection of red and white wines imported from Australia, South Africa, Chile, France and Spain.

Beach Bar

Our Beach Bar is open from 08:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. – 365 days per year. A big selection from soft drinks, fresh coconut juice, local fresh fruit shakes up to our highly recommended cocktails and cold beers are served the whole day.

Ocean Vida´s “Happy Hour” is daily from 04:00 – 06:00 p.m. with 2 for 1 cocktail. Mango Daiquiris is our specialty and should not be missed.

Chill Out Area

Between 3pm -11pm our staff will prepare tables on the beach with bean bags. Lampions are hanging in the palm trees for the perfect lighting on the beach. It is an unforgettable and a unique atmosphere on the entire island of Malapascua. A “Must Try” for everybody who is staying on the island.

Sea View Deluxe Rooms

The twelve rooms are located right at the center of Bounty beach. All rooms have a private balcony or terrace special designed with abaca and mahogni furniture.

All Sea view rooms are equipped with air–condition, fan, safety-box, minibar, hot and cold shower, beach towels, complementary coffee and tea and bathrobes.

Family Rooms

Our family rooms are located in the Garden rooms and are perfect for families with more than 1 child. Here we have a connecting door, which combines 2 garden rooms. Parents and children have their own bed, their own room and their own bathroom.

It´s suitable for 2 adults and up to 4 children, while one child will stay in the parents room. The family rooms are also equipped with air con, fan, safety box, minibar, hot and cold shower and beach towels.

Sea Explorers PADI 5 Star Dive Center

Sea Explorers PADI 5 Star Dive Center opened the year 2000 in Malapascua island at the beautiful Bounty beach. Renovations have been completed in 2010 with a new air condition classroom and new Equipment room.

Dive with a smile and see thresher sharks every day with 95% sighting rates in the year 2013. Beautiful soft coral gardens, wall and wreck diving make Malapascua to one of the best dive areas in the Philippines.

The Sea Explorers dive center is managed by Ollie, a dive instructor. The guiding is done by the local PADI Dive masters Martin, Tong, Rex, Juday, JNand Kleng. Our local PADI Diving Instructors are Tata, Ruby, Tong and Toto.
