Tepanee stands on a small hill that rises up from Logon beach and our territory goes down to our own private sandy beach, from where it's possible to admire breathtaking sunsets in an area secluded from the rest of the island and where we placed beach umbrellas, sunbeds, a gazebo for massages and our lovely Chiringuito @ Sunset Beach Bar & Restaurant.

Since Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda, a number of our guests have made their holiday even more memorable and gratifying by helping victims of the typhoon. While the resort and the main tourist sites can be enjoy virtually as before, most islanders’ houses have been badly damaged.

There are a number of relief & reconstruction initiatives on the island, and your donations as well as your time and effort are most appreciated.

In general, getting tourism levels back to pre-typhoon levels is key to the long-term recovery of the island, and simply by coming and allowing the islanders to cater to your wishes for a great holiday, you will also be contributing to its recovery from the recent natural disaster.

Historically, the concept for our resort followed a philosophy of low environment impact. Most of the building materials are natural and local: wood, bamboo and stones used for the main structures, roofs made of a typical straw named kogon. The buildings are almost invisible from the ocean, even if many are built right on the seaside.

The name TEPANEE comes from the Polinesyan name of frangipani: a tropical tree that produces the flowers printed in these pages. Many tepanees grow on our small hill, flowering in different colours: during the blooming season their fragrance diffuses in the air.

We provide for the wifi in the public areas (beach, bar, restaurant) and in some of the rooms and cottages. Please, note that we are in a remote island and the service sometime may be slow or discontinuous.

Situated in a panoramic position on top of the hill at the entrance of Tepanee: it offers Mediterranean cuisine and much, much more. Our signature dishes are the BBQs: fresh fish and meat, absolutely a must.

From breakfast to dinner, all the ingredients are selected to satisfy the most demanding clients, first and foremost ourselves: if a recipe does not pass our test with flying colours, it will never be served to the customer.

Chiringuito @ Sunset Beach

We propose here breakfast and lunch, snacks and drinks, natural fruit juices and cocktails, all in a heavenly context.

The menu is changed every day depending on the fresh ingredients we can find: freshly caught fish, fruit and vegetables. The yogurt and cream cheese are homemade, all the juices, shakes and smoothies are freshly prepared on order.
