Arkaig Guest House offers friendly, clean, comfortable and affordable
accommodation only a short walk from the center of town.
The Arkaig Guest House is close to the University, handy for colleges and hospital and convenient for all transport. Free private parking for all guests, unusual for the center.
All but two rooms are ensuite and all rooms have Digital TV's and DVD units with a selection of DVDs available for your use. We have a lounge area with TV and a selection of reading material.
There is little patio garden which is a riot of colour in spring and summer and great for warm evenings. In the garden there is also an area for smokers. Please note they are strictly non-smoking the the Guest House.
At breakfast we cater for most diets and have a good selection of fresh fruit and cereals, including gluten free as well as a hearty cooked breakfast. They provide email and fax services to keep you in touch and free wireless internet connection.

Arkaig Guest House has rooms to suit 1 to 3 people, and a family room
(children are welcome), with single, double and twin beds. All bedding
and towels are provided. Most rooms have an en-suite bathroom with shower,
toilet and handbasin.
All rooms are provided with tea/coffee making facilities, clock radio, television (some rooms also have a DVD player), hair dryer and direct-dial telephone. Central heating and double glazing are fitted throughout.

Getting there from the Information Center
From Aberdeen Tourist Information Center head north for 0.5 miles to a
large roundabout, take second exit A96 Inverness, follow that route and
the Arkaig is 1 mile from roundabout on left hand side.
Getting There by Railway
From the railway station turn left at the lights and continue in the middle
lane turning right at the lights. Go into the left hand lane and take
the left turning under the shopping Center until the roundabout. Take
the third exit from roundabout and continue until traffic lights. Turn
left at lights into George Street and continue through 3 sets of lights
and you will then pass the Arkaig on your left.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Aberdeen Airport follow route A96 to city Center, stay on main A96
for approx 7 miles. The Arkaig is situated on main A96 route on your right
hand side, 0.5 miles from city Center
Getting There by Ferry
From the ferry terminal turn right into Market Street. Continue to the
next set of lights turning right at the lights. Follow this route in the
left hand lane turning left at the next set of lights. You will then approach
a roundabout. Take exit A96 Inverness and continue on this route for approx
1 mile when you then pass the Arkaig on your left hand side.
