facilities with bathrobes. Lounge Bar Both bars have open fireplaces, which add character and warmth on those cold winter nights. The Lounge Bar offers an exciting and varied menu which will accommodate any palate and along with the soft music and coal fire you will find it an easy way to let the hours slip away. It's full of golf memorabilia and prints of golf clubs from around the local golfing scene and each end of the lounge bar are locally known affectionately as ‘Amen Corner’ and ‘Hogan’s Alley’. Public Bar This bar is known to us as the “Games Room” where locals ponder over a quiet game of dominos and invite guests to a challenging game of pool. Special Occasions · Anniversaries Whatever the occasion, the Cults Hotel Aberdeen has a variety of function menus to suit most tastes. We can cater for up to 100 and provide a wide variety of buffet, lunch or dinner menus and we will happily prepare a tailor-made package to suit your needs. For larger events choose the Denburn Suite which caters for up to 100 or for the more intimate occasion, the Deeside Suite caters for around 30. Business & Conferences Our experienced banqueting staff will be delighted to advise and assist in all aspects of your function. Realizing that it is the little things that count, no detail is too small for us to deal with. We have two Function Suites to choose from - The Deeside Suite seating up to 28 guests or The Denburn Suite which seats up to 100 guests. Both rooms are popular venues for Breakfast, Conference, Product Launches, Dinner Dances and Wedding Receptions. We have a delegate rates which include the following: This rate is dependent upon there being 15+ delegates attending in the Denburn Suite and 10+ in the Deeside Suite. Less that this a room hire charge will be incurred. Local Amenities Banking facilities are available at the Clydesdale Bank and Bank of Scotland, place of worship - Cults Parish church is on the corner of North Deeside Road and Quarry Road, a Veterinary Practice, Private Dental Practice and Cults Medical Centre. At the rear of the hotel is Cults Tennis Club, established in 1887 and around the corner heading into Aberdeen, you’ll find Cults Bowling Club. Horse riding is also available at Hayfield Riding School, less than 10 minutes from the hotel. There are many walks in and around the area. On the door-step is the Old Deeside Railway Line, which once served the Royal family on their route to Balmoral, offering pleasant views across the Dee valley. The Old Deeside Line stretches from the city centre, past Cults to Peterculter. At Milltimber, one of the old station buildings can be seen, now transformed into a private dwelling house. Take a stroll along the banks of the River Dee, famous for its salmon fishing, and enjoy the evening sunshine on the hills of upper Deeside. The Allan park is quietly tucked away close to Deeside Golf Club where local cricket matches take place on the green during the summer season. It is a peaceful spot where one can stop for a while and simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings. Only five minutes drive to the west lies Deeside Golf Club. This 27 hole facility nestles in the valley tucked quietly behind residential housing in Bieldside.
