Two beautifully situated stone built cottages in an elevated position
on the edge of working farm with magnificent views of Schiehallion and
Ben Lawers.
Many lovely walks within the 600 acre farm where wild life abounds.
Trout fishing on private stretch of River Tay. Aberfeldy,
Dewars World of Whisky 5 star visitor attraction within walking distance
with an excellent coffee shop.

Donald's Cottage:
· Sitting / Dining room with open fire and colour television with
video.
· Kitchen with washing machine, cooker, microwave and fridge freezer.
· Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom
· Family room with twin and single beds.
· Bathroom with separate shower.
· All accommodation on one floor.
· Electric heating throughout. Payment by meter reading on departure
· Linen and towels provided
· Garden area and barbeque. Ample parking space.
Hill Cottage:
· Sitting / Dining room with open fire and colour television with
video.
· Large dining kitchen with washing machine, electric cooker, fridge
freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
· Upstairs one double bedded room and one single room and bathroom
with bath and separate shower.
· Electric heating throughout. Payment by meter reading on departure
· Linen and towels provided
· Garden area and barbeque. Ample parking space.
Mains of Murthly Cottages makes a perfect base for all
activity and sight-seeing in central Scotland.

Aberfeldy is situated in the very heart of Scotland close to the A9. It's
position on the old "Road to the Isles", and on an excellent
road network, permits comfortable travel to most places within an easy
2 hours drive.
The nearest railhead is Pitlochry 15 miles away.
Mains of Murthly is situated approximately 1.5 miles from Aberfeldy, immediately
above the local distillery, which is open to tourists. It is signposted
off the A827 at the distillery entrance.
The area of Aberfeldy is renowned for it's outstanding beauty.
From fertile lands by the River Tay at Aberfeldy, only 250 feet above
sea level, to the Ben Lawers Range, peaking at 4,000 feet, a mere 15 miles
to the west with it's world famous wild alpine flowers.
The Highland Perthshire area has much to offer the holiday maker with
many opportunities for hill walking, pony trekking, clay pigeon shooting,
all forms of water sports including white water rafting, golfing, tennis,
bowling, fishing, hill safaris.

Mains of Murthly farm extends to approximately 550 acres and residents
are welcome to make full use of the area.
The farm has much to offer and there are many walks within the boundaries.
Entirely at their own risk residents may go anywhere on the farm property,
but they are asked to keep to the edges of the fields and make use of
rough tracks.
· Gates must be kept closed
· Dogs are welcomed by arrangement but must be kept on a lead at
all times
· Trout fishing is available on the farm beat on the famous River
Tay - Permits on request.
