Mor apartment offers extremely comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation
in the Cairngorm National Park, situated within the village of Aviemore.
The apartment is privately owned by Ian and Karen Cox. Newly completed in March 2007, this ground floor apartment is modern and spacious with a high specification of equipment and accessories to make the ideal family base for exploring the delights of the beautiful Spey Valley and Cairngorm National Park.
Upon arrival you will find a spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished apartment with access to a patio area offering the opportunity to dine or relax in the fresh Highland air. Cairngorm mountain is a short 25-minute journey by car and all the sporting and scenic opportunities of the National Park are easily accessed.

Lochan Mor apartment comprises a large kitchen/lounge, bathroom, twin
room and double room with en-suite. The apartment is well equipped with
washing machine/dryer, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, ironing
facilities, satellite television, DVD player, CD/hi-fi, hairdriers in
both bedrooms.
A highchair and travel cot are also available to guests with infants.
Also provided is a small bur contemporary selection of DVDs for both children and adults together with CDs, fiction/non-fiction books and several board games.In addition, to assist in planning for days out we have Ordnance Survey maps of the Speyside area; reference works on the Whisky Trail/Distilleries, local walks and castles.
The apartment has its own patio area with a hardwood picnic table. There is also a shared drying green and bike store.

Lochan Mor apartment is set in a Scandinavian style estate at
the north end of Aviemore village. When you see the brightly painted wooden
gables turn off the road and proceed to the first Y junction with a mini
roundabout in its centre. The apartment is on your right hand side; turn
right and enter the car parking area and the main entrance is facing you.
Rail
During the day Aviemore is well served by regular services from the north
and south of Scotland. A taxi rank is directly outside the Railway Station
and is a 5-minute journey to the apartment.
Bus
Citylink, Stagecoach and National Express services operate from Inverness
and the south several times a day, the nearest stop is near to the junction
of Dalfaber Country Club road and entails a short walk to the apartment
(5 - 10 minutes)
Air
Inverness Airport is now hosting an ever increasing amount of internal
flights from UK airports with competitive fares. A number of car hire
companies operate from in and around the airport. We are happy to arrange
a hire car for your at competitive rates.
