The Daviot Guest House is a friendly, comfortable Victorian terraced family home, set in a quiet residential area just a stroll from the beach and town centre. The house retains much of the original character, and attractive ensuite bedrooms include 2 suitable for families. There is a comfortable dining room, where a sumptuous cold buffet followed by a full home-cooked Scottish Breakfast is served at a large oak table. We can provide free permits for resident parking and we have a locked area for bikes and motorcycles. Drying Facilities are available within the guest house. Italian is also spoken so we welcome european visitors at The Daviot Guest House. Things to do in the area: In Ayr and Troon you'll find three of the best muncipal courses in the country at Lochgreen, Darley and Belleisle. In addition there are other additional public golf courses run by the local councils the length of the county. Linda is a member of Golf South Ayrshire and can provide you with a booking
service for the local municipal courses. Local Attractions: It is now well within a couple of hour's reach of much of Europe making it the perfect short break or golf destination. The Isle of Arran is connected to Ayrshire via the fifty five minute crossing on Cal Mac ferries from Ardrossan to Brodick or from the Mull of Kintyre from Clonaig.
