The Horizon Hotel is situated in the heart of Ayrshire's golfing country,
with 37 breathtaking golf courses within 30 minutes drive.
We are happy to organise every last detail of your golfing trip from accommodation,
transfers & tee-off times, to early breakfast, packed lunches and
laundry facilities. As each party is different we individually tailor
all our golf trips to your specific requirements and budget.

Directions to Horizon Hotel:
From Prestwick Airport By Train
Glasgow Prestwick is the only airport in Scotland served by its own railway
station which is accessible by a covered walkway to/from the airport.
From here you can travel 3 stops to Ayr Station, which is a 6 minute journey from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport Railway station. You will be able to take a 5 minute taxi directly to our front door.
Alternatively if you prefer to take a taxi directly from Prestwick International Airport, then it is a 15 minute taxi ride to the Horizon Hotel.
From the Airport trains run to and from Glasgow every 30 minutes and
the journey takes about 35 minutes.
By Bus
Prestwick International Airport is the only Airport in Scotland with its
own train station, making it an easy choice to travel to and from.
The Airport itself is only, 32 miles and a 40 minute journey to Glasgow
city centre, and a further 10 minutes to Glasgow International Airport
by car.
The airport offers great flight times, a quick hassle free check- in,
and 50% discount on rail travel to/from anywhere in Scotland.
Hop on the train from Glasgow City centre direct to Prestwick International
Airport, in a mere 45 minutes.
For those heading south, there are trains travelling down to Stranraer,
from where you can catch the ferry across to Ireland.

Travelling to the South West of Scotland has never been easier. With low
cost flights into both Prestwick and Glasgow Airports from all over the
UK and Europe.
The Horizon Hotel is only a 15 minute journey from Prestwick Airport,
and a 45 minute journey from Glasgow Airport by car.
The M77/A77 that links Glasgow and Ayrshire makes travelling by car an
easy option.
Ayr is an ideal stopover for those travelling by ferry. With the Stranraer
to Belfast or Larne ferry operating a daily fast route, as well as crossings
operating from Troon to Ireland.
