Burnhead

Guests are afforded superb views across the valley and can enjoy walks
through the surrounding beautiful countryside or enjoy fishing in our
private trout stocked pond where they may receive a visit from the local
osprey.
Roe deer are also frequent guests, as are many wild birds.
Located outside Lumphanan between the River Dee and the River Don, Burnhead
is within driving distance of various interesting historical sites. Golfing,
ski-ing and fishing are all close at hand.
Guests have exclusive use of the heated conservatory where breakfast
will be served with views over the large private pond.
A choice of breakfast is offered, with local produce and Burnhead's
own eggs featuring on the menu.
Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, and hot water is always
on tap in the large bathroom.
Burnhead is less than one mile from a small pub and a short distance to
other small villages in the area where meals are served daily.

Breakfast is served in the conservatory. Choose from fresh fruit, cereals,
full Scottish breakfast (including our own free-range eggs), proper oatmeal
porridge, toast and tea/coffee/fruit juices.
Catch a trout and it will be freshly cooked for you.

How to Find Burnhead Farm:
From ABERDEEN Head toward Banchory do not turn in to Banchory continue
on A980 and follow below instructions
From BANCHORY Take road out of town to Raemoir junction and turn left
onto A980 towards TORPHINS and then continue to LUMPHANAN.
Turn right into village at sign saying CRAIGIEVAR CASTLE, ALFORD. Keep
left on main road up Perkhill for approximately 2 miles on A980.
BURNHEAD can be easily seen from the road on the right hand side approx
300 metres from the main road. B&B sign at entrance.
From ALFORD Take A980 through Muir of Fowlis cross the B9119 at CROSS
ROADS Hotel towards Banchory on A980 keeping left towards LUMPHANAN. BURNHEAD
can be seen on left approx 1 mile from the Hotel. BURNHEAD is approx 300
metres from the main road. B&B sign at entrance.
From BRAEMAR, BALLATER and ABOYNE Take main A93 towards BANCHORY and
ABERDEEN. Approximately 3 miles from ABOYNE and before KINCARDINE O' NEIL
turn left at FALLS of DESS.
Continue straight up the hill for approximately 4 miles before junction
at top of hill look over on the right and BURNHEAD can be easily seen.
Turn back down towards LUMPHANAN on A980 for approx 50 metres and turning
into farm on the left. B&B sign at entrance.
