Bryden is an ideal location for walking, cycling, golfing, fishing,sailing or simply relaxing.

A host of quaint fishing villages adorn miles of coastline & beautiful sunsets are frequent.

Troup Head is one of only two mainland gannet colonies in the UK and features dramatic, expansive panoramic views along the Moray Firth and beyond.
This important seabird colony contains significant populations of fulmars, gannets, shags, kittiwakes, guillemots, razorbills and there are even some puffins. Over 150,000 breeding seabirds are present here in the summer months.

Local attractions include Whitehills harbour & marina, Macduff marine aquarium, Duff House & Portsoy 17th century harbour. Banff marina opened April 2007.

We are on the doorstep of the Moray Firth Aviation Trail & within easy reach of the Whisky Trail, Castle Trail & the Victorian Heritage Trail.

We are around an hours drive from Inverness & Aberdeen & on the doorstep of quaint fishing villages & the Moray Firth dolphins.

Location:
BRYDEN is located between Banff & Portsoy, 100 metres from the B9139 coastal trail road in Aberdeenshire.

From Aberdeen take the A947 TO Banff, then follow the A98 (signed Inverness) through the town. Leaving Banff, travel two and a half miles & take a right turn at the "Boyndie Visitors Centre" sign.
Up the road for half a mile past the houses. At the old church gates take the unmarked road at the junction to the left. Bryden is visible from here & is the only property on the road.

From Huntly take the A97 to Banff. Then take directions as above.
From Portsoy follow the "Coastal Trail East" sign. Bryden is 3 miles from the main A98 road & signposted.
