Things to do:
Glen Tilt on Atholl Estates is one of the most impressive glens you will
see. You can cycle as far as you wish - up beside the River Tilt to the
beech avenue at Gilbert's Bridge (4 miles), on to Marble Lodge or Forest
Lodge (8 miles), or a full day's hard ride through to Royal Deeside. Only
estate vehicles can use this route, so it is virtually traffic-free.
Cycling
For more relaxed cycling, our mountain bikes are well suited to the quiet
lanes around the village, and there are some low level trails behind Blair
Castle and through the forests to Bruar that are ideal for the less energetic.
Munro-Bagging
We have a regular stream of 'Munro-baggers' and other more casual mountaineers
and hill-walkers hiring our bikes to cover the long walk into the three
peaks of the Beinn a Ghlo Massif, as well as Ben Dearg and Carn a Chlamain.
Mountain Bike Hire And Information
All of our bikes are from the quality Trek brand and suitable for both
off-road and on-road leisure and touring, and they are available in a
wide range of sizes. We also offer more comfortable hybrid bikes for gentler
usage. Most bikes have front suspension for added rider comfort.
If mountain bikes are new to you, don't worry; we're show you the ropes
and advise on routes. A half-day hire is a good way to start.
Close to Pitlochry and just off the main Perth-Inverness road (A9) and

fare.
