Located in the geographical centre of Scotland, Blair Atholl is ideally located for touring the central highlands. It is within easy reach of the Tummel Valley, with the famed Queen's View, and Loch Rannoch. A short trip north takes the traveller into the Spey Valley and on to Aviemore and Inverness while eastwards leads you to the Braemar, Balmoral and Ballater. Each cottage has its own private patio with garden furniture and private parking adjacent to the courtyard. The cottages with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms offer highly commended accommodation for 2-6 persons. Each is equipped to 4 Crown Grading. All have modern appliances including split level oven/hob, microwave, fridge, toaster etc. Coach House and Heather Cottages have dishwashers. The central guests' laundry is available to all cottages. Each cottage is equipped with matching crockery, cutlery and utensils etc. Colour television, books, boxed games and comprehensive tourist information is provided. Few will fail to be impressed by the surrounding countryside and spectacular scenery of Glen Tilt, the Falls of Bruar and Forest of Atholl. A short 15 minute drive south through the pass of Killiekrankie will bring you to Pitlochry, a major tourist centre, with its large variety of shops, the famous Festival Theatre, hydro-electric dam and visitor centre and of course the famous Pitlochry the salmon ladder, where you can see salmon ascending to their breeding grounds, one of which is the River Tilt.
