This
holiday cottage is a totally refurbished former barn in a quiet, rural
setting.
It is situated in Boat of Garten, in the attractive Spey Valley in the
Highlands of Scotland, and boasts a beautiful panoramic view of the Cairngorms
which can be seen beyond the village of Boat of Garten.
The village lies below the cottage about a mile away.In the Village,
there is a shop where papers and general groceries can be obtained from
here and may be ordered in advance, if required, and a post office.
A bus service runs from the village, and there is also the Steam Railway
which runs to and from Aviemore. In Aviemore, there are many shops such
as pharmacies, grocers, butchers, restaurants, gift shops, specialist
outdoor shops and a well-stocked supermarket.
Normally, the cottage will be let on a weekly basis. However, during
the low season, or when available, the cottage can be let for shorter
periods. Two further twin-bedded rooms may be available from time to time
in the owners own house, should more than seven people need to be accommodated.
