It is used for Whisky making or cattle feed depending on quality. Grass for the small herd of suckler cows who calf in early Spring. The cattle are mostly Limousin cross(French bred). There are plans to increase the herd numbers. There is usually some ground rented out for potatoes .. The farm is also a stop-off point for greylag geese travelling north or south (depending on the time of year). Indeed the name Blibberhill comes from the word 'blibber', which was used to describe the noise the geese made with their beaks when they were searching for food in water.
