to Tigh Na Cairigh.
This is a beautifully modernised and extended traditional croft house,
furnished and equipped to an exceptional standard.
The house provides self catering accommodation for up to six people in three double rooms.
The Cottage takes it name from the Cairigh, a circular stone fish trap near the house.
Tigh na Cairigh (Gaelic for House on the fish trap) is superbly located
on the shores of Loch Na Cairidh with amazing views towards Broadford,
the Isle of Scalpay, Beinn Na Caillich and the surrounding hills.
It’s position gives you easy access to the whole island as well
as being convenient for a host of pubs, restaurants, shops and other facilities.
Strollamus is a small community scattered along the shoreline of Loch
na Cairidh with the main A87 Kyle to Portree road running though it.
Portree, Skye's main town lies some 21 miles to the north and in Portree
you will find all the services you would expect of a growing and thriving
town.
The cottage is also located 15 minutes from the Skye Bridge with easy access to the mainland.
It is the magic of the Misty Isle and stunning views from the House on the Cari will make your holiday on Skye unforgettable.

Family room with views to sea, patio and gardens, Radio, TV and DVD .
Kitchen views of secondary patio, newly refurbished with NEFF gas stove, double oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave and breakfast area.
Dining room Formal style dining & seating for 6 (high chair available
upon request) with wine cooler.
Bathroom fitted with a modern shower.
Utility containing washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer and secondary fridge, with extra storage, washing basket and sink area.

Bedroom 1 with King Size bed, integrated wardrobe, considerable drawer

Location of Tigh Na Cairigh:
The location of the cottage is very central on the Isle of Skye with easy
access to Broadford, Portree and the Cuillin. To find the cottage follow
the A87 after crossing the Skye Bridge towards Broadford and Portree.
Drive straight through Broadford and continue for a further 3.7 miles
until you reach the small village of Strollamus on the A87. Tigh na Caridh
is the third house on the right in the village. There is parking for six
vehicles next to the road.
