Enjoy the peace and quiet of this Highland estate, in the beautiful Trossachs countryside, explore its woodlands and riverbanks where wild life abound. The Lodge is ideally situated as a base for touring, cycling, hill walking
or more leisurely strolls. Water sports at Lochearnhead, golf at Callander
and Aberfoyle, and the Blair Drummond Safari Park are all nearby. Salmon and trout fishing may be available at discounted rates on the estate's private beats on the River Leny. Trout fishing is also available on many nearby lochs. The town of Callander is 1 and a half miles from the Lodge where there are shops to meet all your requirements. A third of a mile down the Farmston drive is the local pub in the hamlet of Kilmahog where bar meals are served, or a meal may be enjoyed in its restaurant. Snack meals are also available in the two woollen mills in Kilmahog, again only a walk from the lodge. Electricity is included in the price, towels and linen at a extra cost, we are happy if you wish to bring your own. The Lodge is on the first corner 100 yards from the main road. The Bothy is another 100 yards further on in the courtyard of Farmston House.
