Harbour Cottage is a distinctive 3-bedroomed detached cottage providing
a feeling of comfort without the claustrophobia and offering plenty of
space to take off your walking boots and not be scared to lounge about.
Most of their guests fall in love with the cottage and their visitors' book is overflowing with kind comments.
Harbour Cottage Accommodation
Accommodation consists of a lounge, a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, refrigerator, automatic washing machine and microwave. There is a small television but reception is poor owing to the location of the cottage.
Upstairs there is a cosy sun lounge, with stunning views across land and sea, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bedroom with a double and a single bed.
The bedrooms have sloping roofs. Fittings are new and of good quality. The bathroom is located downstairs. Heating is provided by a coal fire as well as storage and panel heating throughout. All linen and towels are provided free of charge.
PLEASE NOTE: Harbour Cottage in not fenced in and access is by a fairly steep slope (about 100 yards with an incline of roughly 1 in 6) which may not be suitable for all.

The Island of Barra is in the Western Isles or Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
Transportation links from the mainland are provided by Caledonian MacBraynes
ferries from Oban and a daily flybe plane from Glasgow.
PLEASE NOTE: to travel from Barra to Oban on a Saturday in summer it will
be necessary to take the short crossing from Ardmhor to Eriskay and then
drive to Lochboisdale to catch the Oban ferry from there. This connection
is possible using public transport.
From Castlebay Ferry Terminal - Take the A888 East to
Earsary. Keep on this road for 4 miles until you reach Earsary. Both Cottages
are located on the right hand side of the road.
From Barra Airport - Head south and at Northbay take
the A888 East towards Castlebay. Earsary is about 6 miles from Barra Airport.
Both Cottages are located on the left side of the road.
