Their
cafe and licensed guest rooms are located in the center of historic Crail,
a few minutes walk from the harbor.
Accommodation is cosy and provides a perfect base by the sea to visit
the pretty East Neuk fishing villages.
Their wee cafe wakes up the day with breakfast, followed up by homebaking,
specialty coffees and great beers or wine.
They are now specializing in Scottish brews but will still be sourcing
the lovely Belgian fruit beers that everyone enjoyed last summer.
Drop in for a light lunch or drink , sit in the garden or watch Crail
go by from the coffee shop.

Activities:
Walk - The stunning Fife Coastal Path is on our doorstep,
it passes through the village and our accreditation from Fife Countryside
Trust as a Welcome Port for 2009 means we will be supplying maps, transport
details, tide tables, drying facilities, water bottle to-ups, basically
anything we can to help. Try staying with us and take advantage of a two
night break, The Honeypot is perfect a base from which to explore the
historic castles and caves, quaint fishing villages and award winning
beaches right from your doorstep.
Golf - Play the splendid Balcomie Links, its is a beautiful
course, not too long and full of interest with magnificent views of the
sea from every tee. Golden sandy bays and rocky outcrops of the Firth
foreshore come into play at the 2nd, 4th and Hell's Hole - the 5th, its
here that you have to make up your mind whether to carry the beach or
take the east way round. The last few holes will test you, but no matter
how badly you fare, you will remember Balcomie as one of those great days
out on any golf course.
Cycle- The Kingdom of Fife Millennium Cycle Ways are
a must, if you are staying with us why not borrow our bicycles and try
the Crail Kellie route of 19 miles. It takes you through lots of farmland
and past Kellie Castle National Trust gardens. You can detour into Pittenweem
and explore the hilly wynds and closes between its fisher houses. Or just
take a wee lunch with you and stay close to Crail on two weels, its amazing
how quickly you get around and its a great way to sneak up on wildlife.
Fish - Rods are available from The Honeypot albeit Crail
is quite a rocky prospect, charter boats can be hired for up to twelve
people for some better sea fishing prospects. Game options include several
stocked waters for brown and rainbow trout but there are some interesting
points for salt water sea trout fishing using spun fish strip or classic
lures such as the abu toby or krill.
