This
self catering cottage is situated in the old part of the quaint East Neuk
village of Crail, and is the ground floor part of a true Scottish eighteenth
century coach house. Located just across from the old castle and close
to the small working harbor and beach it is an ideal base from which to
enjoy the East Neuk coastal walks. The local shops, restaurants and pubs
are all just a few minutes walk.
Crail is a particularly picturesque fishing village in, cobbled streets
tumble down to the miniature harbor, sheltered by cliffs and surrounded
by fishing cottages. Crail is a typically tourist-friendly village and
gets busy on summer weekends when day trippers stroll the front licking
ice creams. Attractions include St. Mary's Church, Crail Museum, Heritage
Center and Crail Pottery.

The Lobster Pot, although very compact, is full of East Neuk and Scottish
charm and character. It consists of sitting room, one double bedroom ,
kitchen, dining area and bathroom with separate shower. Gas central heating
and on street parking. This will sleep 2 people..

Apart from the East Neuk coastal walks, there is plenty to see and do
in the surrounding area that will appeal to all. The Secret Bunker is
an unusual experience and the Scottish Fisheries Museum along in Anstruther
provides a glimpse into the past and how life was for those living in
the fishing villages of the East Neuk. For those looking for a little
more culture the cities of Edinburgh and Perth are only an hours drive
away

Getting there from the Information Center
From Crail TIC walk past the Golf Hotel, then turn left down Castle Street.
The Lobster Pot is at the bottom of the road on the left.
Getting There by Railway
From Leuchars Rail Station head for St Andrews, then Crail on the A917.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport head for the Forth Road Bridge, then Dunfermline
on the M90, then follow Kirkcaldy on the A92. Take the A915, then the
A917 from Upper Largo, follow the coast route to Crail. On reaching Crail
take the 3rd road on the right into Castle Street
