in 1884 and offers a contemporary and luxurious Bed and Breakfast in Crieff,
Perthshire, Scotland.
Newstead Bed and Breakfast is situated in a quiet residential area on
the edge of the Crieff Hydro Estate, within easy walking distance of Crieff
and with stunning views across the Strathearn Valley.
Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep and awake refreshed ready to enjoy
a full Scottish cooked breakfast served in our lovely dining hall that
will set you up for the day’s events.
Newstead Bed and Breakfast combines the elegance of the past, high ceilings,
cornices and large windows with all the modern conveniences of today,
central heating throughout, en-suite facilities, bathroom with power shower
and a beautiful large bath where you can ease away any aches and pains
at the end of the day.
All our rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and are well decorated,
spacious and bright with lovely comfortable beds.

Crieff is known as the Gateway to the Highlands and there is
a wealth of activities on our doorstep, Golf both in Crieff and at the
famous Gleneagles course that is only 8 miles away.
Walking, there are many walks in and around Crieff and one of the most
popular is Lady Mary’s Walk along by the banks of the River Earn.
The Knock is minutes walk away from Newstead as is the Crieff Hydro Hotel
where you can enjoy the many activities on offer from Tennis, Golf, Quad
Biking and Swimming in the Victorian Spa.
If you are in need of some pampering there is also a Hairdresser and Beauty
Salon offering everything from Facials, Massages, Manicures, Pedicures
and Spray Tanning.

Drive down the High Street
Bearing right on the A85 –Signed Comrie/Crianlarich onto Comrie
Road
Take second opening on the right Craigard Road signed for Knock Castle
Hotel & Spa
Continue up Craigard Road then bear slightly to the right onto Ancaster
Road
Take First left into Newstead signed Newstead Cottage and continue up
the drive (Newstead Cottage on the right)
Turn left into parking area
Park on the right hand side of the Car Port
Getting There by Car:
From Edinburgh head West pass Edinburgh Airport at Newbridge Roundabout
head for Stirling M9 (NOT Glasgow M8) / At Stirling the M9 becomes the
A9 / Follow signs for Perth A9 (Dual carriageway) follow this road for
approximately 14 miles / Exit A9 at junction signposted A822 Crieff.
Pass the Visitors Centre on left, cross the bridge continue onto Burrell
Street straight on to T Junction, facing the Church go left on to A85
Comrie Road.
Take first right at Craigard Road continue up the hill then bear slightly
right onto Ancaster Road – Turn left into Newstead signed Newstead
Cottage. Continue up the drive, Newstead Cottage on the right and park
on the right hand side of Carport.
Getting There by Railway:
Gleneagles Railway station is the closest station to Crieff, only 8 miles
away, but the service to Perth is much more frequent. Perth is approximately
17 miles from Crieff.
By Car:
From Edinburgh Airport:?Exit the airport following signs for All Routes
/ Follow the signs for Glasgow A8/M8 / You will then approach a large
roundabout / Follow the sign for Stirling M9 (NOT Glasgow M8) / At Stirling
the M9 becomes the A9 / Follow signs for Perth A9 (Dual carriageway) /
Follow this road for approximately 14 miles / Exit A9 at junction signposted
A822 Crieff.
From Glasgow Airport:
Exit the airport following signs for Glasgow City Centre M8 / Follow this
motorway and pick up signs for Edinburgh M8 / Turn off at Junction 13
to Stepps/Stirling M80 and continue to follow signs for Stirling/ At Stirling
pick up signs for Perth / This road will become the A9 (Dual carriageway)
and follow this road for approximately 14 miles / Exit A9 at junction.
