What makes The Smiddy Bed & Breakfast so special is that it is a totally self contained three bedroomed property which affords additional privacy for guests not normally associated with Bed & Breakfast accommodation.
You have complete freedom to come and go as you please.
You might want to relax one afternoon in the sitting room with a nice
cup of fresh coffee - which is available all day for our guests’
convenience.
All our guests to date have given us the highest of praise for the things we do to make our guests’ stay as pleasurable as possible.
The accolades range from things like providing fresh milk in the rooms for the tea and coffee to having a huge choice of items for breakfast to having fresh coffee available all day in the sitting room to having a decking area where guests can sit at their leisure any time they like to having a car parking facility to having (and we quote) ‘the largest, most comfortable beds in the world’.
It is decorated and furnished with luxury in mind, with en-suite facilities
in each room.
A variety of room sizes and features are available including double and
single bed all with en-suite facilities, 22" flat screen tv's with
integrated dvd, internet access is available in all rooms. Rates include
a hearty homemade breakfast.
Tea & coffee making facilities are available to our guests rooms throughout
the day. Fresh coffee available 24hrs in the lounge area.
We have a lovely decking area to allow guests to relax 'al fresco'
We are situated just metres from the High Street in Crieff and have on
site private parking. You won't find better accommodation or a better
location.

Just newly opened, The Smiddy Bed and Breakfast provides high quality
accommodation with en-suite facilities in each room and is situated right
in the heart of Crieff.
We also offer private parking which is an additional bonus given our situation
in the centre of the town.
We provide a luxury getaway for our guests with accommodation and service
to the highest standards.
We are a family run business and we will offer you the warmest welcome
and a most memorable stay.
All in all we think you would love The Smiddy Bed & Breakfast, which
our recent Candian guests referred to as ‘a wee gem’ of a
B&B.
There are a great variety of facilities and activities available
in Crieff.
Crieff is a great location for a get away. It is ideally located and is
within a 20 minute drive of Perth and Stirling with Edinburgh and Glasgow
just 1 hour away.
Crieff Hydro is just a ten minute walk from the Smiddy. The Hydro offers
leisure facilities all year round including squash, tennis, golf and more.
Crieff has a fantastic 18 hole golf course. Nearby Muthill,
Comrie and St Fillians have 9 hole courses and Gleneagles golf course
is only 11 miles away.
The surrounding countryside offers a large selection of activities, including
hill walking, climbing, white water rafting, fishing and watersports at
Loch Earn.
The Bed and Breakfast is nestled behind Crieff High Street which boasts
numerous retail outlets for those with shopping in mind with Perth only
some 20 minutes away.

week or two away over Christmas, Easter or during the summer holidays
in the beautiful town of Crieff - Gateway to the Highlands? If so, why

The Smiddy is a contemporary styled, luxurious B&B with a tranquil
open plan sitting/dining room. There is a decking area with a chimenea
if you like to sit outside.
We can provide breakfast and an evening meal if required. We can also
cook your traditional Christmas dinner.
Alternatively you may just wish to do your own cooking and fend for yourselves.
The manager, who lives the cottage opposite The Smiddy would be on hand
if you needed help with anything or you decided one morning to have breakfast
cooked for you.
Crieff is only just over an hour away from both Glasgow and Edinburgh;
half an hour to Perth and just over two hours to Oban or Inverness.
Our B&B is literally a few metres from the main square. We have private
parking and you are just a stone’s throw from several lovely restaurants
and pubs.
