Location:
Visitors can walk for miles without meeting anyone, admiring the views north to the Sidlaw hills, east to Norman’s and Largo Laws, west to Pitmedden Forest as well as over the centre of Fife and the Lomonds.

Roe deer, buzzards and foxes abound and lucky walkers might catch a glimpse of the recently released sea eagles.

In spite of its peaceful rural location, Greenlaw House is very well placed for access to a number of towns and cities; St. Andrews, Perth, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Dundee are each only 25 minutes by car with all they offer in terms of historic sites, cultural destinations and retail opportunities.

Edinburgh is easily accessed – the M90 motorway is only ten minutes away and the drive to the capital takes under an hour; rail connections are good too, Ladybank station is only ten minutes away, with access to most Scottish destinations and there are bus services nearby.

Fife , Perthshire, Kinrosshire, Stirling and the Trossachs, Edinburgh and much of the Highlands can also be explored from this central location.

Getting there from the Information Centre:
From the St. Andrews TIC follow the A91 to the Trafalgar junction just outside Collessie, then follows the instructions below. From Dunfemrline follow the M90, turn off to St. Andrews on A91 and follows the directions by car below. From Perth, follow M90, then turn off at Bridge of Earn, following signs to Cupar, turn off right onto B937 and follow directions below.

Getting There by Car:
Greenlaw House is situated on the B937 between the A91 – St. Andrews to Stirling road and the A913 Bridge of Earn to Cupar road. If approaching from the south turn off the A9 at the Trafalgar junction – a big staggered crossroads, taking the B937 northwards signed Lindores and Newburgh without entering Collessie.
After exactly a mile, your will see a turn to the right marked with signs for a public footpath and then Braeside, take this and follow the drive over the railway bridge up the hill past two other houses until you get to ours at the top with a wall and metal gate. Coming from the North, turn off the A913 at Lindores, follow the road past the loch for about two miles round a few bends.

Getting There by Railway:
Ladybank is the nearer station, Kirkcaldy and Leuchars are each about 25 minutes away with East Coast mainline trains stopping there as well as local trains.

Getting there by Aeroplane:
Dundee (35 minutes) and Edinbugh (45 minutes) are the nearest airports.
