semi detached cottage is situated in a beautiful, peaceful rural setting
with magnificent views over the Sutherland hills yet it is only 3 miles
from Dornoch with its charming town center, beautiful beaches and famous
golf course.
Accommodation, with a high standard of finish, comprises an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen; a twin bedded bedroom and a bathroom and separate ‘drive in’ shower room.
The accommodation has been designed for wheel chair access and use by the disabled. The cottage has its own ramp, decking and garden area with facilities for outdoor eating. There is extensive parking.
The cottage is all electric, with under floor heating in the main areas. The price includes electricity, linen, towels, robes all of which are provided. A welcome pack of basic provisions will also be made available. Well behaved, house trained dogs are welcome though the accommodation is not suitable for children as there is a large pond in the grounds.
The owner lives in the attached house and is available to assist you in anyway. The Royal Burgh of Dornoch is an historic small town situated on the east coast of Sutherland in the Highlands of Scotland. It enjoys a mild climate and its peaceful and scenic location away from busy roads attracts visitors all year round.
Both visitors and locals alike appreciate the championship level golf course, beautiful walks by the beach or through forests and hills and the abundance of wildlife in the National Nature Reserve at Loch Fleet. It is a place where you can feel safe to explore the environment.
In summer the Pipe Band performs every Saturday evening and the Dornoch Show and Games take place in July and August respectively. The Street Part held every Hogmanay in Dornoch Square attracts a large number of visitors.
