Great Glen Anderson Farmhouse Accommodation
Not only do we offer spacious suites with luxurious touches, we offer
all customers the full use of our stunningly spacious lounge complete
with roaring log fire and views across the great glen towards loch ness.
We also serve your delicious meals in our magnificent dining room - should
the weather be good why not sit out on our full size balcony and take
in the fresh air as you admire the beauty only found in this part of the
world.
From candlelit dinners, or family meals watching the sunset, to afternoons
watching the world go by Bed and Breakfast accommodation doesn't get much
better than this.
We have taken special care with our rooms here at The Great Glen Bed and
Breakfast at Anderson Farmhouse to make sure they not only have all home
comforts but also the wonderful extras that we know are often greatly
appreciated.
All our rooms have their own lockable entrance, ironing facilities, bathrobes
(perfect for walking to the hot tub), tea tray complete with homemade
cake and biscuits, hairdryer and luxurious bath towels.
All guests have the use of our indoor drying room and should you need
to do washing, we can have it washed, dried and folded for you.
Our accommodation consists of three suites each individually
decorated to suit all tastes:
The Great Glen - 6' Double / Family / Twin Room:
Beautiful suite with its own private BBQ and patio - Our largest and most
superior suite! Sleeps up to five people (max 3 adults). Ideal accommodation
for family holidays.
Fully equipped, top of the range kitchen, LCD TV, DVD with surround sound,
en-suite top spec bathroom with very large power shower and spot lit wall
size mirror.
The Urquhart - 6' Double / Twin Room:
Beautiful suite with its own large bay window and individual entrance
from outside with a spacious patio area with its own BBQ; again includes
a top of the range fully equipped kitchen, en-suite bathroom with bath
and shower, flat screen TV, DVD finished with solid wood furnishings and
overlooking the beautiful cherry blossom garden and hills of the Great
Glen.
The Affric - Double / Family Room:
Our third suite with a beautiful mahogany sleigh bed, large en-suite bathroom
with extremely spacious power shower, own individual entrance from outside
with spacious patio with its own BBQ, TV, DVD and also overlooking the
beautiful garden and hills of the Great Glen. Will take a family of 5.
Great Glen Anderson Farmhouse Facilities
At The Great Glen Bed and Breakfast at Anderson Farmhouse, we know it's
those little extras that make all the difference - so we have made sure
all our suites are complete with at least two large spot-lit mirrors
Outdoor pursuits around Loch Ness.
Families are very welcome - children will enjoy the pets feeding, trampoline and large fenced garden, maybe even a pony ride (complimentary of course!).
And for the adults: Soak your tired muscles in our brand new hot tub complete with mood lighting and music, or maybe kick-start the day with an enthusiastic gym workout in our private gym.

be accompanied by an adult at all times.
· Choose a book or DVD from our extensive collection for all ages
young and old.
· Have a go on our full size TRAMPOLINE great fun for all the family.
· Relax in our large fenced garden complete with footballs, rugby
balls and a goalpost.
· Have a picnic and games at our riverside BBQ area (even take
a swim if you're brave enough!)
· Come help feed our horses, sheep and highland cows who are always
happy to have visitors. Feeding time early morning or late afternoon.
· For the very young child we even have a selection of toys, seating
and sleeping options to save you luggage space.
· We also offer in the late afternoon a free pony ride for the
little ones with big hearts, and any energetic children will love to play
in our floodlit arena, maybe even show our horses up by jumping the jumps.
· Bicycle hire can be arranged for the day with bikes delivered
and collected. We have a selection of bikes available for short trips
free of charge (donations for upkeep are welcome)
· Two barbecues available for guests' use, charcoal to be supplied
by Great Glen Bed and Breakfast. Plastic plates and barbecue tools supplied.
· Sit out on our Mediterranean style patio looking out over the
glen (for 2010 covered and midge-free!)
· Collection from Inverness airport / railway / bus station available
including bring your own bike
· We have a selection of maps available and good advice for those
who wish to explore Loch Ness, Glen Affric and the Great Glen.
We offer not only a range of mouth-watering breakfasts, but also afternoon
tea in front of the fire and an array of dinner menus should you not wish
to venture out.

with fully equipped kitchen and patio, we really are bed and breakfast

Location:
Great Glen Bed and Breakfast at Anderson's Farmhouse is situated close
to the banks of Loch Ness next to the Great Glen Way in the Highlands
of Scotland, and is located at the heart of some of the most un-spoiled,
majestic scenery to be found anywhere in the world.
Set in 10 acres of grounds we are home to our resident horses, Shetland
sheep (lambs in the spring) and yes even our very own highland cows who
are always happy to pose for pictures.
A wide range of walks and cycle trails are available right on our doorstep,
either towards the picturesque last remaining Caledonian forest of Glen
Affric, or over the cascading hills to the historical magnificence of
Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness.
Things to do:
There is so much to see and do around Loch Ness, with the beauty,
peace and tranquility that is found in the mountains, lochs and glens,
rivers and waterfalls, there is an abundance of wildlife and amazing colours
with 3 RSPB nature reserves close by and a wildlife park.
This wonderful part of Scotland caters for a huge diversity of interests
that will satisfy most visitors' needs including families.
There are countless activities available to outdoor-pursuits and sports
enthusiasts at Great Glen B and B.
A few examples: Golf, fishing, walking, mountain biking, horse riding,
canoeing, sailing, skiing and mountaineering.
We here at Great Glen Bed and Breakfast are surrounded by many walking
and cycling trails, including Glen Affric. These take you right up into
the untouched, rustic landscape with panoramic views over Loch Ness and
the Great Glen.
We have a few mountain bikes for guests use and an on-hand, extremely
experienced mountain climber to map out any routes for you. We can even
teach you to fly fish in our garden or our river.
At Great Glen Bed and Breakfast we also provide bring your own horse riding
holidays.
For those who prefer a holiday with a historic theme, there are castles,
forts, battlegrounds, burial grounds, museums and many other places to
stimulate the imagination.
For guests who prefer to sample one of Scotland's more famous exports,
the Highland region is home to more distilleries than you can shake a
