About Clarke Cottage: Dunfermline was then famous for linen and the Black Family were prominent and respected in Society. At that time the property boasted of a tennis court, swimming pool and large gardens. In more recent times, Clarke Cottage has been used as a family home with
the Bleachworks and adjacent land being progressively sold off. In 1993 the first extension to the property provided 4 en-suite twin bedrooms and this was the creation of Clarke Cottage Guest House. The Guest House was so popular that, in 1997 a further 3 en-suite double bedrooms and 2 en-suite twin bedrooms were added. In addition a residents lounge and dining conservatory were also provided.
Additional car parking was necessary and this was provided at the rear
of the Guest House. Location of Clarke Cottage Guest House: Email Clarke Cottage Guest House enquiries & reservations: bookscotland@madbookings.com
