An area of outstanding natural beauty it has been popular with visitors
since Victorian times, when steamers brought visitors 'in their droves'
for sunshine, sand, ice cream, boating, the great outdoors.
Ostel Bay, near Tighnabruiach, is a secluded beach off the beaten track
and only accessible (first by road, then) on foot, and the Isle
of Bute, Rothesay Castle and Mount Stuart are
great for a day out.
The Argyll Forest Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The
Highland scenery is truly breathtaking. After just a few days break all
your worries will melt away. Delight in extraordinarily special scenery

that only an authentic forest log cabin can offer. When the night is clear

that final glass of wine before retiring.
Dawn Chorus
Morning time, perhaps awake to the gentle braying of the lambs in the
field, the distant ‘bark’ of the Roe Deer or the dawn chorus
of forest birdlife as you begin to plan your day.
Or just stay in...
With work behind you and a need to relax, this is a great place to do
just that. Put your feet up, watch a DVD, play a game or read a book -
its good to do something different without distraction - you deserve a
break.
