They provide comfortable en-suite, ground floor accommodation and serve a substantial, traditional Scottish or Continental style breakfast. All family, twin and double rooms are non smoking, have free Wi-Fi Internet access and digital Freeview channels.
Private off street parking is available and we are conveniently situated for the shops, pubs, restaurants and a swimming pool.
Ardbrae House Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
They have two double en-suite rooms and one twin en-suite room, all of
which are on the ground floor. If required the twin room is large enough
to accommodate a small single folding bed, or we can provide a travel
cot for babies (but not bed linen). Please note their establishment is
non-smoking throughout in accordance with UK laws.

Getting there from the Information Center
Exit the Tourist Information Center on Princes Street and from directly
outside the office (gardens side) take the LRT bus number 26 to Clermiston.
Get off at the 3rd stop on Drum Brae South (the one after the petrol garage).
Continue walking up the hill towards the speed camera. Number 85 is right
next to the camera.
Getting There by Car
From the M8 east bound, follow signs to the City By-pass North, then all
signs for the City Center. Follow Glasgow Road until you get to the roundabout
with the purple PC World/MacDonalds/Bank of Scotland on it. Turn left
and proceed up the hill, Drum Brae South. Number 85, Ardbrae House is
on the left hand side next to the speed camera (30 mph zone).
Getting There by Railway
From Edinburgh's Waverley or Haymarket railway stations, make your way
to Princes Street (gardens side) and take the LRT bus number 26 to Clermiston.
Get off at the 3rd stop on Drum Brae South (the one after the petrol garage).
Continue walking up the hill towards the speed camera. Number 85, Ardbrae
House is on the left hand side next to the camera.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport, take the airport shuttle bus to St John’s
Road, Corstorphine. Get off at the stop after the roundabout with the
purple PC World/MacDonalds/Bank of Scotland on it. Cross the road and
get on an LRT bus number 26 to Clermiston. Get off at the 3rd stop on
Drum Brae South (the one after the petrol garage). Continue walking up
the hill towards the speed camera. Number 85, Ardbrae House is on the
left hand side next to the camera.
Getting There by Ferry
From Rosyth Ferry, follow all signs to Edinburgh. From Queensferry Road,
turn right at the traffic lights onto Drum Brae North and proceed over
the hill into Drum Brae South. Number 85, Ardbrae House will be on your
right hand side, next to the speed camera.
