They dormitory accommodation provides a gothic feel within the old church
hall complete with stained glass windows! Dorm sizes range from 4-10 beds
and they can sleep up to 98 guests. Private double and twin rooms are
also available.
They operate a private residents bar and outdoor BBQ area for the exclusive
use of their guests. It's a great place to relax and unwind after a hard
days traveling or sightseeing, and an ideal spot to meet fellow travellers.
They have a darts board, a pool table and a big screen which is great
for watching movies and live sport. Oh, and the good news is there's always
a drinks special on offer.

Getting there from the Information Center
Turn left out of the Tourist Information Center on to Princes Street and
proceed to the west end. Pass Shandwick Place, continuing until you reach
Palmerston Place on the right. Turn down Palmerston Place and follow the
road to its end. Belford Hostel is the converted church at the corner,
on the right.
Getting There by Railway
From Edinburgh's Waverley Railway Station, proceed to the west end of
Princes Street, pass Shandwick place, continue until you reach Palmerston
Place on the right. Turn down Palmerston Place and follow the road to
its end. Belford Hostel is the converted church at the corner, on the
right-hand side.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport, take the airport bus to Haymarket. Continue along
West Maitland Street and turn left into Palmerston Place, then Douglas
Gardens. Belford Hostel is the converted church at the corner, on the
right.
