THE LAVENDER ROOM (Double)
A double ensuite room situated on the ground floor.
This room is tastefully decorated and overlooks the mature front garden.
The Lavender room offers a very comfortable KINGSIZED bed adorned with
a Victorian Brass headboard to add a wonderful visual effect together
with beautiful embroidered bedding and handmade quilts.
There are luxury extra blankets if more warmth is required.
The room also has high quality carpets, leather chair and a large ornate
mirror. There is thermostatically controlled central heating throughout.
The shower room is equipped with a chrome ladder towel radiator and Arran
Aromatic Toiletries for that touch of luxury. **All our rooms are no smoking
and have free WIFI**
THE GREEN ROOM (Twin)
A twin bedded ensuite room situated on the ground floor.
This room is tastefully decorated and overlooks the mature secluded rear
garden. It offers very comfortable twin beds which can also be made into
a large double bed if required.
These beds are adorned with Victorian Brass headboards to add a wonderful
visual effect together with beautiful embroidered bedding and hand made
quilts.
There are luxury extra blankets if more warmth is required.
This room also has high quality carpets , leather chair and a large ornate
mirror are available in this room. There is thermostatically controlled
central heating throughout.

THE FAMILY ROOM
Situated on the first floor of the premises this room can sleep upto 4
people. It is a spacious room and includes a modern Kingsized bed (Brushed
Chrome) together with two single beds. This room has its own Private Facilities
which are situated just outside the main bedroom. The facilities in the
large family sized bathroom include a spacious shower cubicle and separate
1950,s cast iron bath.
Please note the family room and adjoining bathroom are the ONLY rooms
on the first floor of the premises and no other guests have access to
this area of the house.
The family room also has high quality carpets, leather chair and ornate
mirrors.
The rooms have thermostatically central heating throughout. **All our
rooms are no smoking and have free WIFI**
Location
Guests can walk to the city centre in less than 15 minutes or
catch the frequent local bus service which stops conveniently close to
our house.
Edinburgh's Western General Hospital is only a ten minute walk.
If guests decide to travel by car we have ample, safe, off street parking
facilities in our private drive at the front of our property.
We are close to many great restaurants, bars, shops, galleries and other
city centre tourist attractions. Holiday accommodation in Scotland really
does not come much better than this.
Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible and with this
in mind we have designed and tastefully decorated our rooms accordingly.
You will not be disappointed and we (Linda and Ken) look forward to meeting

from the city centre. Please note we are located on a small slip road
just off Orchard Brae.
By Rail: Waverley & Haymarket train stations are approx 10 mins taxi
ride.
By Air: Edinburgh Airport is around 20 minutes taxi ride (30mins during
busy times).

Edinburgh Military Tattoo - The Edinburgh Military Tattoo
is an annual Military tattoo given by British Armed Forces, Commonwealth

in Edinburgh in August).
Edinburgh Castle - Starting at the top of the town, Edinburgh
Castle is a must see for every visitor. It has a fascinating history,

to the castle, the Scotch
Whisky Heritage Centre aims to bring 300 years of Scotch
Whisky history to life. This interactive visitor attraction, allows you
to experience whisky sights, sounds and smells, and gives the opportunity

Real Mary King’s Close - Beneath the Royal Mile
lies a warren of concealed streets where real people lived, worked and
died in bygone centuries. Step back in time at The Real Mary King’s
Close to walk through these hidden closes, some of which have never before
been open to the public.

of Scotland. The museum is on Chambers Street, in central Edinburgh. It

Our Dynamic Earth - an interactive visitor centre taking
you on a thrilling journey back in time to learn about our planet Earth.
Royal Botanic Gardens - The Botanics captures the imagination
of everyone who visits and is world renowned for its horticultural excellence.
Over 70 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds provide a tranquil haven
just one mile from the city centre.
Scottish Parliament - The Scottish Parliament Building
is the home of the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood, within the UNESCO
World Heritage Site in central Edinburgh. Located next door to the Palace
of Holyrood.
Auld Reekie Tours - Continuing into the underworld, you
might want to experience one of Edinburgh's Ghost Tours with Auld Reekie
Tours. The gory, the ghoulish, the sinister and the haunted, creepy Underground
Vaults - "possibly the most haunted place in Britain!"
Edinburgh Festival Theatre. The Festival Theatre Edinburgh hosts
