Getting there from the Information Center
Leave the Tourist Information Center (situated above Princes Mall Shopping
Center) and go onto Princes Street heading west to The Mound. From The
Mound take an LRT bus number 41 to Charterhall Road. It is then a short
walk to Blackford Lodge.

From Waverley Station go to Princes Street heading west to The Mound.

Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport turn left onto Glasgow Road. At the Gogar Roundabout
follow the City Bypass to the Lothianburn Junction (A702). Go down Comiston
Road and turn right into Clunny Gardens. At the traffic lights follow
the fork to the right (Blackford Ave). At Craigmiller Park Golf Club,
turn right into Observatory Road and take the third right into Blackford
Hill Rise then first left into Blackford Hill View where the house is
situated half way up on the left.
