Broughton Hotel Accommodation
We are a 3 star Guest house in a Georgian style New town building in
the City Center of Edinburgh and only 2 minutes from the Playhouse theatre.
All of our five bedrooms have been recently refurbished all are fully
en-suite with fresh bed linen, hand & bath towels, unlimited shortbread
biscuits, tea/coffee facilities, colour television, free high speed broadband
wireless internet, central heating and with the benefit of free off street
private car parking.
Attractions and Activities
The Broughton City Centre Hotel is in the heart of Edinburgh and is only
a short walk to Princes street, & Edinburgh
Castle, The Waverley rail and St Andrews Square bus stations,
are only a comfortable 10 minute stroll.
The Botanical Gardens is also nearby the vibrant Broughton
Street with the stunning venue Mansfield Traquair and its many fine restaurants,
cafes, bars, clubs and The Edinburgh Playhouse theatre are only 2 min's
walk from our hotel.
Our guests can also gain access to the Virgin Active
health club in the Omni centre for a small daily fee for full use of there
pool, gym, sauna and leisure centre.

Large busy Italian restaurant serving all the traditional pastas and pizzas
you would expect from a fine establishment.
The Montgomery Fish & Chips off Leith walk.
One of the best fish and chip restaurants in Scotland highly recommended.
DIRECTIONS
We are easy to get to from Downtown Edinburgh as well as the Edinburgh
airport and the main Bus & train station. Only a short walk from the
city center.
From the West. M 8 A8.
East along Princes Street, then left into St Andrews Square, turn right
into Queen street travel along approx 1k till it changes to York Place.
Continue eastwards along that street until you come to its junction with
(Approx 300mt) Broughton Street.
Turn left into Broughton Street and then second right into Broughton
Place. The hotel is situated at the end of the road.
From the North. M9 A90.
Follow Queensferry road to city centre and turn 1st left after the Dean
bridge ( see details above from there).
From the South. M6 A74. A701. A702.
Follow signs for city centre at the junction with Princes street head
for Leith, Leith street and turn 1st left Union street (opposite Playhouse
theatre).
From the East. A1.
Follow signs for city centre Portobello road then London road at the junction
of Leith walk turn left (Playhouse theatre see above).
From Waverley rail station (Edinburgh Main Train Station)
Go up and crossover to Princes street, South St Andrews street, turn right
approx 300 metres then turn right again on to York place 1st left on to
Broughton street approx 300 metres then 2nd right Broughton place.
From the West. M 8 A8.
