Holyrood apartHOTEL is a modern building offering a variety of two bedroom and studio apartments, over 6 floors. The apartments are finished in a light contemporary style, with clean uncluttered spaces, and all the mod cons you would expect in a modern city apartment.
Each apartment is finished to the highest standard. Guests enjoy the use of 2 bathrooms*, spacious lounge, dining area and fully fitted kitchen complete with all appliances and equipment.
Each Bedroom has a personal workspace with DDI lines, modem access, and Wireless broadband through out the apartment (Charge applies). In-room safe, hairdryers, Iron and Ironing board are in each apartment. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided, as you would expect from a 4 Star Hotel.
So all you have to do now is select your apartment type, bed type requirements and you will be perfectly located to enjoy all that Edinburgh has to offer!
*Note: Two of our one bedroom apartments have one bathroom.
1 Bedroom Luxury Studio Apartment
This spacious 1 bedroom apartment consists of one double bedded room,
one bathroom. A sitting area with sofa, a fully equipped kitchen with
separate dining area. The studio apartment offers smart and comfortable
CD and DVD player, LCD television and all the same high level of amenities
as our other luxury apartments.
2 Bedroom Luxury Serviced Apartment
Each apartment layout does vary slightly, however floor space
remains the same. Guests may choose from either: Queen/Queen, Queen/Twin
or Twin/Twin bedding configuration. The Twin/Twin apartment features one
larger bedroom with a sitting area for two. Each lounge has a fold out
Double sleeper sofa, should you wish to accommodate 5 persons in the apartment.
2 Bedroom Executive Serviced Apartment
The aparthotel features 3 Executive 2 bedroom apartments, located on the
6th floor. Two of these apartments are a Queen/Twin and one apartment
is a Twin/Twin bedroom layout all bedrooms feature LCD Televisions.
All apartments feature 1 bathroom and 1 Shower room, fully fitted kitchen, lounge with 32 inch LCD TV and DVD player and adjoining dining area.

2 Bedroom Penthouse Serviced Apartment
The Penthouse is our largest apartment, located on the 6th floor, with
ample size lounge and separate glass roofed dining room are perfect for
entertaining! The lounge features a 32 inch Plasma and DVD player, with
a 5 seater sofa and 2 lounge chairs. Each bedroom features a wall mounted
26 inch LCD Television.

2 Bedroom Disabled Access Serviced Apartment
The Accessible apartments feature an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge
area which is accessed by a wide hallway. One bedroom features a Queen
bed, with an en-suite bathroom with shower (non-accessible) the second
bedroom has 2 single beds. There is an accessible bathroom off the hallway,
with a wheelchair accessible in shower.
The two accessible apartments are finished to the same standard as the Luxury apartments, and are on level 3 and 4 accessed by lift from either Reception or the car park.
Serviced apartment inclusions:
· Fully fitted kitchen with quality makes such as Seimens, Whirlpool
etc – electric hob and oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher
and washer/tumble dryer.
· The lounge features an LCD flat screen television DVD player
with DVD library available to loan.
· Italian tiled bathrooms through out, with shower room and shower
over bath in main bathroom, shave mirrors and anti fog mirrors
· Bathrooms are supplied with Lux Shower soap and fluffy towels
· In-room safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board
· WIFI internet access in all rooms (chargeable)
· Complimentary internet access in Reception
· Complimentary welcome continental breakfast hamper is provided
for the first night – the hamper may then be purchased on a daily
basis if required.

We offer our guests onsite secure car parking for a nominal fee per car, per day. We have a limited number of spaces, so if required please reserve your car park at the time of booking.
DIRECTIONS
Holyrood Aparthotel is an easy 10 minute walk from Waverly station. We
would however suggest you take a taxi if you are laden with luggage. You
can pick up a Black Cab from outside the train station.
The Postal code for GPS is EH8 8PE and once you are on Holyrood Road, for the Car Park entrance you are looking for Hammermans Entry. Hammermans Entry is at the last set of Pedestrian Traffic lights when driving towards the back entrance for the Scottish Parliament.
To access our Car Park turn into Hammermans Entry, then turn right, the Car Park gates are at the end of this cul-de-sac. Other landmarks to look for are: Pizza Express and Foodies Coffee shop opposite the Scotsman Building.
The street between Pizza Express and Bean Scene is Gentiles Entry and
leads to the front entrance of the aparthotel.
Route 1 Walking to Holyrood Aparthotel from Waverley Train Station
Exit via Market Street. Cross at pedestrian crossing directly outside
Train Station, turn left and continue along Jeffrey Street until you meet
The Royal Mile, turn left and continue down the Royal Mile approx 5 minutes,
heading towards Holyrood Palace.
On the right hand side you will see an archway called Bakehouse Close, walk through the close following the road around to the left where you will see Holyrood Aparthotel around the corner of this Close.
Route 2 Driving to Holyrood Aparthotel from the West.
Follow signs to city centre of Edinburgh. Follow the signs to the West
End of Princes Street - turn right up Lothian Road, pass through three
sets of lights at fourth set turn left into Bread Street, and continue
along this road and through the Grassmarket, road changes to Cowgate.
Continue on this road until, name changes to Holyrood Road after St Mary Street Junction, continue down Holyrood Road turn left into Hammerman's Entry/Morgan Court which leads to Holyrod Aparthotel Car Park, press buzzer on right hand side and Reception will open gates for you.
Route 3 Driving to Holyrood Aparthotel from the South.
Follow the signs to city centre of Edinburgh, driving down you will pass
The Commonwealth Swimming Pool on your right hand side, turn right at
next set of lights into Holyrood Park.
Take first turning at mini roundabout, take first turning at next roundabout through Holyrood Gait, turn left at the intersection onto Holyrood Road take first Right Hand turn (between ‘Pizza Express and ‘Bean Scene’) onto Gentles Entry for Reception, or the Second opening on right hand side (Next to ‘Nisa Today’ convenience store) to drive straight to the car park.
Press the intercom at the Silver car park gates to announce your arrival to Reception.
