Roseneath Apartment Accommodation
A spacious traditional property in Edinburgh's popular Marchmont area,
close to the Meadows.
Two bedrooms (double and twin) with period fireplaces; large spacious
sunny living room with bay window overlooking the street and trees, period
fireplace & cornicing; study with desk, chair and shelving; large
kitchen dining room with dining table and chairs, two rocking chairs and
views to shared garden at rear; newly refurbished bathroom with bath and
shower; three storage cupboards in the hall; sanded pine floors throughout.
The flat can sleep four people, two in a double four poster bed in the
front room and two in single beds in the back room. A double sofa bed
in the living room can extend capacity up to six people. However, for
longer "short lets" (between 1 and 5 months) we recommend that
the flat is ideal for two (or possibly three) people or a family.
Please note the flat is suitable for non-smokers and we operate a no-smoking
policy.

Getting there from the Information Center
From the Tourist information Center at Waverley, either take a taxi from
the rank at the station or catch the bus 41 from the Mound to Warrender
Park Road. Alternatively, use a local street map to walk via the Mound,
George IV bridges, Forrest Row, Middle Meadow Walk and Argyle Place to
Roseneath Place.
Getting There by Car
Please see our website for more detailed directions, or contact us to
send directions by email. The easiest access is from the south, exiting
the bypass at either Hillend (A702) or Straighton (A701).
Getting There by Railway
From Waverley Station – see directions from TIC above.
From Haymarket station – take a taxi or walk via Lothian Road and
Brougham Place (about 25-30 minutes, mostly uphill from the station).
Unfortunately there are no good bus links.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Take the airport bus to either Waverley or Haymarket stations and follow
directions as above. Alternatively, take a taxi door to door (expensive)
or if you can book travel in advance, share a "door-to-door"
minibus ride with the Edinburgh airport shuttle.
