Established
at the beginning of the millennium, their apartment at Rossie Place has
proved popular with all guests, the visitor's book singing the praises
of the comfortable accommodation and the many delights Edinburgh has to
offer.
Not surprising then, that many of their guests have returned or referred friends and family. It is very much a personal business, run by (Julie) and husband Stephen and they are sincere in their desire to make your stay as easy and pleasant as possible.
They are members of the 'Arts Welcome' scheme approved by the Edinburgh & Lothians Tourist Board to cater for the needs of cultural tourists. On arrival at the apartment, they will show you around, explain how things work and answer any questions you may have on making the most of your visit.
Rossie Place Accommodation
LIVING ROOM
This spacious lounge room with corner windows gives a bright outlook onto
Rossie Place and Easter Road. There is cable TV and an Xbox console with
a selection of DVDs and games. The Wi-Fi router gives connectability throughout
the flat for guests with laptops and other internet accessible gadgets.
This comfortable room also has a cupboard full of board games and toys
for children. The bookcase is full of paperbacks guests have added to
and swapped throughout the years as well as current tourist information
detailing attractions for Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The flat
has gas central heating throughout but there is also a stove electric
fan heater as a focal point to the fireplace. If required this room can
also be used as a bedroom with the use of a double sofa bed. Two other
double sofas complete the seating arrangement.

The dining table is situated in the alcove and can be extended to seat
six guests. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering purposes including
electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine/tumble dryer.
Situated on the worktop is a mini hi-fi unit with a USB slot for mp3s.
A high chair is available for infants.
DOUBLE BEDROOM
The Main bedroom has a standard double bed, triple wardrobe and matching
drawer units as a dressing table.
A hairdryer is also provided.
TWIN BEDROOM
The twin room has two standard single beds.
There is also a single fold-out bed with spring mattress available for
additional guests.
There is a large walk in cupboard for wardrobe space along with two bedside
cabinets and a dressing table.

Getting there from the Information Center
From Edinburgh and Scotland Information Center. Turn right on Princes
Street and travel straight along Waterloo Place and down Regent Road.
Take a left down hill at next set of traffic lights. This is Easter Road.
Follow down this road over London Road, first right is Rossie Place.
Getting There by Railway
From Waverley Station. Turn right on Princes Street and travel straight
Regent Road. Take a left down hill at next set of traffic lights. This
is Easter Road. Follow down this road over London Road, first right is
Rossie Place.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport. Follow signs for city center. From there along
Queen Street to roundabout at York Place. Follow road to the left past
the Playhouse then right on next roundabout. Travel along London Road
till next set of main traffic lights. Turn left onto Easter Road. The
first street on right is Rossie Place. Number 2 is the first stair on
right near the corner turning.
