Sherwood Guest House Accommodation
The Sherwood on the coast at New Brighton offers most rooms with a sea
view and all rooms en suites facilities, colour TV and digital box plus
coffee and tea making facilities.
Price includes bed and full English breakfast. Special dietary requirements
catered for with prior notice.

The Albert Dock in Liverpool provides an enjoyable day out, being the
second-most popular attraction in Great Britain, offering the Maritime
Museum, Tate Gallery, the Beatles Story, Animation World and scores of
shops, bars, restaurants and cafés.
The Wirral is an ideal place for the sportsman, having all sports and
recreational centre readily available and for the golf enthusiast, there
are fifteen golf courses, including the Royal Liverpool, to choose from.
Directions:
From the South:
Leave the M6 at junction 20, joining the M56 towards Chester,
Leave the M56 at junction 15 joining M53 towards Birkenhead,
Leave the M53 at junction 1 - signposted Wallasey / Birkenhead,
At the bottom of the slip-road take the first exit off the roundabout
joining the A554 - signposted New Brighton,
At the second round about turn right and proceed along the promenade,
After passing the Lifeboat station on the right hand side,
turn right at the roundabout,
Take the first turning on the right into Wellington Road.
From the North and East:
Leave Liverpool using the Kingsway (Wallasey) Mersey Tunnel,
Pass through the toll booths and continue ahead ,
Take the first exit - signposted Wallasey / Birkenhead,
At the bottom of the slip-road take the third exit off the roundabout
joining the A554 - signposted New Brighton,
Then as above.
Wirral, in England’s North West, is easily accessible by
road, rail, sea and air:
Car
It is directly routed to the national road network via the M53, which
connects to the M56 and then the M6. Both Chester and Liverpool are then
a realistic 30 minutes away, and in fact, two underwater Mersey Tunnels
connect the area with the “home of The Beatles”.
Train
A local rail network connects the peninsula to the national Intercity
service via Liverpool Lime Street Station (ie Wirral to London –
3 hours approx.)
Air
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is just 8 miles from the City Centre and
has regular scheduled flights from Belfast, Dublin, Cork, the Isle of
Man, Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Geneva, Madrid, Nice, Paris,
Palma, and Malaga.
