The guest rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished and all rooms, including the popular king size antique four-poster, are fully equipped with en-suite facilities, tea and coffee hospitality tray, freeview colour television, radio, hair dryer and trouser press. The Pines Elgin bed and breakfast guest house is an impressive Victorian mansion attractively situated in it's own extensive grounds in the historic East end of Elgin. The Pines guest house accommodation is set on the main A96 road between Inverness and Aberdeen. The bed and breakfast has on-site parking facilities and is only a five
minute walk from Elgin city centre and is a short drive from Inverness
and Aberdeen airports. The historic city of Elgin is situated at the confluence of the three major tourism "trails" dedicated to golf, castles and whisky distilleries and is an ideal base from which to tour the Highland and Grampian regions of Scotland. Known as the "Mediterranean of the North" the Moray Firth area boasts some of the best weather in the British Isles. Places to visit: The Whisky Trail is on Elgin's doorstep, and the delightful sandy beaches of Moray with offshore dolphins and seals are only six miles away. There are many championship golf courses, castles, gardens and antique shops nearby. Elgin is a stones throw from Speyside and the new Cairngorm National Park with it's popular ski-ing, hill walking and fishing. Elgin has much to offer visitors, being within a one hour drive of such diverse and popular locations such as Loch Ness, Aviemore and Nairn.
