Welcome to Grangeburn Guest House! Grangemouth is located at the mouth of the Firth of Forth Canal and has easily accessible motorway links into Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as Stirling and nearby Royal Burgh, Falkirk. Flowing through Grangemouth is the Grange Burn (which gave it’s
name to our guest house!), which exits the town and flows directly into
the Firth of Forth (and carrying on into the North Sea). Grangeburn House AccommodationWe offers 6 cosy, comfortable bedrooms for guests: 1 single, 1 double and 3 twin with a large room suitable for families. The rooms have hairdryer, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, and other thoughtful touches to make you feel at home. The house has full central heating. Dining Sample Breakfast Menus; Full cooked breakfast of bacon, free range eggs, award winning sausages from our local butcher, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs. Smoked haddock with welsh rarebit or poached egg, kedgeree. Basket of brown or white toast, croissants, pancakes and fruit scones. Coffee or selection of teas… In addition, we are happy to offer evening meals by prior arrangement. We also offer safe off street parking. Attractions and Activities Situated on Bo’ness Road next door to Grangemouth Library, is Grangemouth Museum. Although small, this museum has on display a rare selection photographs and memorabilia etc from Grangemouth's earliest days. A ‘must visit’ if you are interested in delving deeper into the history of the town that gave birth to the first ever steam powered boat, the Charlotte Dundas! A five-minute walk from town can lead you to Zetland Park. During the summer months, Zetland Park is the perfect place to relax with a picnic or perhaps to allow your children to play and make friends in the main body of the park, including swings, 'Sahara Desert' adventure area and zip line etc. The park also has its own boating pond, refreshments kiosk and mini traffic (where kids bicycles, go-karts and bouncy castle can be enjoyed!). If however, you are the more sporty and energetic type, Grangemouth Sports Complex. Complete with two indoor swimming pools, badminton and squash courts, two gyms, indoor football and other scheduled activities such as Tae Kwon Do, yoga, swimming classes, Keep Fit, aerobics and many more, this centre is perfect for keep fit and remaining energetic in this laid back town! Finally, Grangemouth hosts two main events annually. The first, taking place around mid June, is the Gala or Children's Day. Here, a parade with selected schools and clubs etc taking part, travels through Grangemouth until it reaches Zetland Park where the Gala Day Queen (elected from a particular primary school weeks before) is crowned. The second is the Children's Festival, also taking place in Zetland Park around the start to mid July and hosted by Central FM, central Scotland - both great family days out! Grangeburn Guest House is centrally located only 20 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 20 minutes from Stirling Castle. We are also close to the Falkirk.
