Many low levels walks snake through the Glen; make sure you visit the spectacular Steall Falls and the wire-rope bridge.
Access to many of The Mamores (Lochaber mountain range) is easy, and the glen has great crags at Polldubh for rock climbers and bouldering. This is the ideal base for those finishing, the West Highland Way or competing in a 3 Peaks Challenge.
They are also close to the bustling town of Fort William and the acclaimed snowsports and World Championship mountain biking area at Aonach Mor.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From the Tourist Information Centre turn right along High Street and right
again at the main road (past the hospital). At the roundabout take the
Glen Nevis turn. The youth hostel is 3 miles along the road. They are
on a public transport route, but this is extremely limited during the
winter months
Getting There by Railway
From Fort William Station turn left and walk along main road (A82) for
approximately 1 mile to the next mini roundabout. There take the Glen
Nevis turn off. The hostel is 3 miles along this road on the right, past
the campsite.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow International Airport by bus via A82 Loch Lommond.
