This detached former fisherman’s cottage dating back over 100 years is situated in the unspoilt village of Inverallochy close to the seashore. Sympathetically refurbished by the owners it now provides very comfortable holiday accommodation. Inverallochy is an atmospheric village with its narrow alleys and cottages dotted along the coastline, making an excellent base to explore this undiscovered area of north east Scotland. With its natural beauty and glorious sandy beaches it is ideal for coastal walks, cycling and bird watching with a range of water sports available locally. The village has everyday shopping, Post Office, golf course and museum. Fraserburgh (3 miles) offers a good choice of shops, restaurants and pubs whilst the cosmopolitan city of Aberdeen is only an hour’s drive away. Discover the lovely, unspoilt beaches and fishing villages of the Moray Coast, or visit the historic Highland villages, Inverness and Aviemore for a spot of shopping.
